Hakone, Enjoy Geopark and Traditional Culture
Hakone has been boasting its beautiful nature and historical background. Many hot bathing spots, a beautiful and tranquil lake and a wild volcanic vent will welcome you. You can enjoy a gigantic view of Mt. Fuji on a fine day. You will find Hakone shrine, a check point house and an old cobbled pathway by the lake. You can also enjoy traditional local foods and wooden mosaic works. Hakone Free Pass ticket is a must item. With this ticket you can use almost all the transportation system.

Gora
The Modern Hakone spa started from here when gorgeous resort was developed here 100 years ago.
Owakudani
a volcano vent, you will experience unusual strolling. You can enjoy eating black eggs boiled in hot spring water.
Ashinoko lake and a Pirate Ship
A beautiful mountain lake. You can see a red Tori gate in the water while you are crossing by a Pirate Ship.
Moto-Hakone
A main tourist spot by Ashinoko lake. An old check point house, a wooden mosaic work shop and an old path lined by cedar trees are some of the tourist spots.
We can enjoy lunch here.
Hakone Onshi Park
A beautiful park by the lake. You can see a beautiful Mt. Fuji with its image on the water surface here.
A Check Point House
To guard Edo area against enemies, a check point house was built here in Edo era. You can enjoy seeing traditional Japanese houses and how to check tourist those days
Hakone Shrine
This shrine is said to have been founded 1200 years ago. The red Tori gate seen from the ship belongs to this shrine.

A foot of Mt. Hakone. Many souvenir shops and hot spring baths you can enjoy here

Tour Important Information
Hakone Free Pass ticket is a must item. With this ticket you can use a Pirate Ship, a moutain train, a cable car and a bus freely. You can buy this at Shinjuku, Odawara and many Odakyu line stations.
The possibility to see a gigantic view of Mt. Fuji differs depending on the weather and season.
The temperature of Hakone is lower by 5 degree Celcius than that of Tokyo because of its height. You had better take precautions against the cold.

“An informative, excellent tour of Tokyo”
Kaneo was the perfect guide during our first day in Tokyo. It was our first time to Tokyo, and requested he help show us various things such as the bus system, shopping areas, etc. he did a great job working all of our requests into his tour, and also showed us many beautiful shrines and landmarks around the city. “Very Kind and Knowledgeable Guide”
We have booked Kaneo for three days. Two in Tokyo and one in Hakone. Kaneo was very accommodating and knew where to take us in Tokyo. As you know, there Tokyo is full of things to do, and he managed to edit the sites so that it was manageable. The tours were very informative and he gave a lot of thought as to where we would most enjoy going to. On top of all that, he helped pick out a restaurant and made dinner reservations for us during our last evening in Tokyo. In Hakone, he showed us the many sites there, and we got to see the locations that make Hakone truly picturesque and unique. “An excellent 2 days spent exploring the best of Tokyo with Kaneo”
Kaneo organised a great two day tour of Tokyo for our family, showing both the old and the new and customising the itinerary based on some Japanese TV programs I have been watching and particular interests for our family. He booked ahead for the Shibuya Sky view (very necessary) and I highly recommend checking out the Ninja Cafe if you have some energentic kids. A really great experience all round and a great guy to spend a couple days with.
