I'll pick you up at your hotel or Nagoya station, you can come from Tokyo or Kyoto directly to Nagoya by bullet train. We will the take train to Inuyama castle from Nagoya (it takes roughly 30 mins).
Inuyama castle
It's like time traveling back to the 16 century Japan. Inuyama castle is unique in that is rare for a castle to still be standing with its original building materials without being torn down and rebuilt. There are also great views of the local mountains and rivers atop the castle.
Eat street food or authentic Nagoya food/ Shopping at local stores
Below the castle, there is a enchanted street full of restaurants and shops. You can enjoy street food tasting! Wagyu-stick is the most famous food you can try here. If you prefer to eat at restaurant, I can coordinate a nice local place to eat. You can also enjoy shopping, there are so many shops where you can get unique souvenirs.
Toyota Commemorative Museum
Did you know that Toyota is from Nagoya(Aichi prefecture)? Everybody has heard about TOYOTA Motor Company but its history is barely known... We'll learn about their ambition and challenge to introduce the very first Japanese automobile.

I was born in Aichi prefecture where Nagoya is located in. It's a shame many tourists skip our Central area on their itinerary as it's not known well as destination for tourist. However, I'm proud of my region where you can experience Japanese people local life and beauty of hidden nature.
If you are a little bit tired with the touristic places please visit my region. I'll take you calm and tranquil nature places, tasting our traditional cuisine and experiencing local people's real life.
As my husband is from USA, I have many experiences to take my foreign family and friends my favorite places. It was my pleasure they loved where I presented and discovered different side of Japan. I'd like to help making your trip unforgettable and full of new experiences.

We engaged Saki-san wanting to see Nagoya through a local's perspective, but got so much more. From the get-go, she felt just like a friend. As a fellow young parent, she was patient and could absolutely anticipate the needs of our two young families, engaging the young ones while making great recommendations for our group. “Wonderful guide for Ghibli park tour!”
Our family of 4 (including two kids age 10 and 11) had a wonderful time with Saki at the Ghibli park! She arranged premium tickets for us on the day that we desired. If you've done your research, you'd know that it's not easy to get these tickets from abroad. So if you are a Ghibli fan, don't wait and reach out to Saki! She was very organized and extremely personable. We had a fantastic time together touring Ghibli park, talking about anything Ghibli, as well as life in Japan, raising kids, shopping in Nagoya, etc. She is truly a joy to be around and made our day far more enjoyable. This tour includes the following spots, Nagoya Castle, Sakae - Oasis 21, and Atsuta Shrine. We visit two historical sites and modern commercial site.
