About Tour Guide Hideo Y.
Hello, I'm HIDEo YOSHIda. Please call me HIDEYOSHI, the same name as the famous shogun who built the Osaka Castle in 1585.
I was born in Kobe and worked in Osaka for nearly 40 years. I would like to introduce the Kansai region to you ,including Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Wakayama.
Kobe is one of the two largest ports in Japan, along with Yokohama. After the opening of the Port of Kobe in 1868, foreigners built their residences on the hillside of the Kitano-cho area, overlooking the ocean. Many of the foreign residences are now open to the public as museums, including the Weathercock House, with it's symbol weathercock on the triangle-shaped roof.
In Meriken Park, the red Port Tower (the city's landmark), creates a beautiful contrast against the white Kobe Marine Museum. The museum's design was inspired by the waves and sailing ships.
When you have a chance to visit Osaka, please join my tour. I'm sure you'll enjoy the interesting and historical, scenic spots. For example, Shin-Sekai is a downtown area with a strange mix of nostalgic atmosphere and contemporary energy. You can try local foods (kushikatsu, sushi, tempura) at a reasonable price. Billiken (a famous statue of the spirit of luck) will be waiting for you!!. Dotombori is a popular street with a lot of flashy signboards. Osaka is widely known as a "Kuidaore-no-machi", or literally "drinking and eating luxuriously to death." Osaka Castle was built by Toyotomi HIDEYOSHI in 1585. Oh, it's my residence, isn't it !
These days "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" area in USJ, or Universal Studios Japan, is also attracting more and more people.
I'll be looking forward to seeing you !!

“An amazing day trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima ”
My parents trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima in was exceptional because of Hideo-San! His deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history enriched their experience. What truly stood out was his patience, kindness and attentiveness. He ensured my parents were enjoying the tour, looked after them when they become too tired and made sure they felt comfort. His warmth and enthusiasm truly enhanced their experience. We highly recommend Hideo-San to anyone wanting to visit Hiroshima and Miyajima .

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. It was so high tide that we could see the great vermilion torii looking like floating on the sea at Miyajima. At the Peace Memorial Park, we saw Children's Peace Monument related to paper crane and thank you for hitting the bell to pray for the peace. It was the tour from Osaka to Hiroshima and I could execute my plan on the schedule thanks to your cooperation. I hope you enjoy Japan trip. I wish you and all your family good health and happiness.

“It rained, and yet we still had a wonderful day thanks to Hideo.”
Hideo was extremely well organized and shepherded our group very well. He knew his itinerary very well and informed us on all the important points. . He saw to our every need - frequent rest room stops, buying tickets, buying lunch, using cash machine, finding elevators and more. The only problems we had were with GoWithGuides not Hideo

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. I could take you to the Kochi Castle, one of the 12 oldest castles in Japan. I showed you the characteristics of the castle such as stone gutters, stone droppings and the like. Lastly we visited Makino Botanical Garden with conservatory where we saw beautiful plants (orchids, omnibus, giant bamboos), and five-storied pagoda at Chikurinji Temple. I hope you enjoy Japan trip. Atomic Bomb Dome and Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima
Hiroshima has 2 World Heritage sites: the Atomic Bomb Dome and Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima. Hiroshima is now internationally known as the first city destroyed by the atomic bomb ever used in human warfare. Within the Peace memorial Park at the epicenter of the explosion, you can find war memorial museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome. The shrine is also a brilliant vermilion hall and it creates a sharp contrast against the wooded hills in the background and the blue sky above.

Tour of Osaka-jo Castle
(Highlights) The present castle building looks beautiful, powerful and in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. However, it was the venue of hegemony, bloody conflicts and natural disasters for many centuries. Once you visit the castle, you will be amazed at the magnificent structures, huge moats and the beautiful natural environment. The view from the top of the eight-storied donjon is splendid. You can reach there either by going up the steep stairways or taking an elevator ride. The castle is in the heart and the landmark of Osaka city, where many modern buildings stand. (How to enjoy) You can enjoy a leisurely walk along the one-kilometer road leading to the castle after you get off the train and, once inside the precincts, you cannot spare even a moment without marveling at the sight of an ancient technology and human wisdom, as well as the huge rocks building up the protection walls. Not only seeing the buildings, you can also sit on the grass and enjoy having lunch with your family members or friends. (Others) The entrance fee is 600 yen per person and the JR Osaka Loop Line train fare is 300 yen for the ride from Osaka to Osaka-jo-koen station. The fare for the ride between Kyoto and Osaka, meanwhile, is 510 yen.
