Osaka Castle
Osaka Castle was originally built in 1598 by Hideyoshi Toyotomi. But the castle fell during a war in 1615. Then it was reconstructed in 1629 by Tokugawa Shogunate. But a lightning struck the Main Tower in 1665. The castle which exists right now is rebuilt in 1931.
Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower
Shinsekai means "New World" in Japanese. This area was developed to have a "National Industrial Exhibition" in 1903. This was one of the most advanced and developed places in West Japan on that time and that's why this area is called "New World". And Tsutenkaku Tower stands in the center of this area and it's the symbol of Shinsekai and Osaka.
Dotonbori and Namba Area
This is the most energetic area in Osaka!! You can find a lot of stores, restaurants and really unique signboards like Glico Man, Kani Doraku Crab, Kushikatsu Daruma, and so on.
In this area, we can have the lunch in Okonomiyaki restaurant. Okonomiyaki is the most popular and famous soul food in Osaka!!
And we can try Takoyaki in this area. Takoyaki is one of the soul foods in Osaka and the most popular street food in Japan.

Umeda Area
Umeda is one of the biggest commercial, business, shopping and entertaiment district in Japan. And here we can find Osaka Station, which is the largest terminal station in west Japan.
We can take pictures around the station and ride a Ferris Wheel which stands on the top of a building or go to the observatory of Umeda Sky Building, so that we can enjoy a great view of the city.

“Friendly, Knowledgeable and Enthusiastic Tour Guide”
Takashi was a fabulous guide. He generated two itineraries for us based on what we wanted to see, and made a great plan to see many of Kyoto's great sights. Takashi met us at our hotel, and we went on great tour through the city, seeing sites such as the bamboo forest, Fumishi inari, Yasaka pagoda, Gion and many other locations along the way. We travelled as a group of two, we managed our to navigate ourselves around Tokyo effortlessly, same as Osaka. What we really gained from this was knowledge, history, facts, culture and a deeper meaning to what we are seeing and experiencing from a local (Takashi) who has a real passion for his work. Takashi made our Kyoto trip so much more valuable then just seeing the sights. Thank you Takashi ありがとうごしました

“OSAKA, KIOTO Y NARA ”
Osaka fue una parada de dos dias del crucero y Takashi hizo que aprovecharamos el tiempo al maximo, el primer dias nos movilizamos en un vans que alquilamos de Osaka a Kioto y visitamos todos los sitios mas relevantes, ir con Takashi nos permitió movilizarnos rápido, luego regresamos a Osaka y nos orientó en lo que debíamos hacer por nuestra cuenta. El segundo día nos recogió en la terminal y salimos juntos a Nara, recorrimos Nara y al medio día regresamos a Osaka para terminar de recorrer los sitios mas emblemáticos de Osaka y luego nos llevo a la terminal de cruceros. Takashi es una persona muy educada que nos fue explicando la historia en los diferentes sitios visitados, fue muy eficiente en el uso del tiempo y gracias a él, en el poco tiempo que tuvimos en Osaka, logramos conocer 3 ciudades. Habla perfectamente bien el español, fue un guia EXCELENTE!!
