The autumn leaves season is coming (mid November to mid December).
Experience the beauty of Fukuoka in vibrant autumn colors!
We start by taking a bus from Tenjin to Yusentei Park, a traditional Japanese garden where you can enjoy beautiful autumn leaves and matcha.
After returning to Tenjin for a delicious lunch, we visit the ruins of Fukuoka Castle, to admire colorful foliage and historic stone walls.
We finish at the Japanese Garden near to the castle, perfect for a peaceful stroll.

Yusentei
Yusentei was built in 1754. It became the designated tourist spot in Fukuoka city. This is a historical park that exudes Japanese beauty. You can enjoy watching autumn leaves and drink Macha.

You can tell what kind of Japanese food you want to eat. Then I make a restaurant reservation in advance.
The food in the photo is not same, but the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is delicious. I recommend Tempura and Sashimi, Sushi. Tonkatsu, Okonomiyaki.
The Ruins of Fukuoka Castle
The Fukuoka Castle Ruins are a great spot to enjoy autumn leaves. The stone walls and old castle remains create a beautiful contrast with the red and yellow foliage, offering a unique historical atmosphere.
Ohori Park Japanesre Garden
The Japanese Garden in Ohori Park offers a peaceful setting with vibrant red and orange maple leaves, traditional buildings, and ponds — a perfect place to enjoy Japanese autumn.

“Great customize tour in Fukuoka ”
We booked Masazumi as our tour guide in Fukuoka when our cruise ship docked there. We communicated on our custom itinerary and preferences before my family arrived in Fukuoka. Masazumi was flexible with our scheduling needs. He met us outside the cruise terminal and we took a taxi to our first location. He was happy to share his knowledge of the shrines, customs, and traditions of the area. He kept us on schedule and we didn’t feel rushed. For lunch, he asked us for our dining preferences and made accommodations knowing how busy restaurants could be during the weekends. We were pleased with his restaurant choice and enjoyed an authentic Japanese meal. He helped us navigate the public transportation.
