With its well-proportioned and beautiful appearance, Mount Haruna, one of the representative mountains in Gunma, is known as "Haruna Fuji". This tour visits two major tourist spots located on the hillside of Mount Haruna: Haruna Shrine and Ikaho Hot Springs.

- You can store large luggage in the lockers at Takasaki station
- Head to Haruna Shrine by bus
Haruna Shrine
- One-hour sightseeing then head to Lake Haruna by bus
- A shrine and former temple complex with a history of over 1,400 years
- The approach along the pure stream is covered by ancient cedar trees, creating a sacred atmosphere
- Unique peculiar rock formations
- Architectures adorned with fine carvings.
*The main hall of Haruna Shrine is currently undergoing restoration work until December 2025 and cannot be visited. However, you can see other newly-restored buildings.
Lake Haruna
- Lunch at a lakeside restaurant
- Enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Haruna and Mt. Haruna which looks like a miniaturized Mt. Fuji
Start strolling Ikaho hot spring town
- Walking through symbolic 365 stone steps and enjoying an atmospheric, retro hot spring town

- [Optional] Kajika Bridge, where you can enjoy fresh greenery in spring and autumn leaves in autumn

- This is a walking tour and there are many stairs and slopes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers and not sandals.
- Some places only accept cash, so make sure to bring some cash.
- The main hall of Haruna Shrine is currently undergoing restoration work until December 2025. However, you can see other newly-restored buildings.
If you like, departure time can be changed one hour behind only from April to November. (The lunch place will change.)
