Tancho Cranes start waking up in their roost river around 6:30am. You will be stunned by the beauty of tens of them glittering gold in the early frost smoke @ Otowa Bridge. You will also be amazed by beautiful cranes’ court dancing surrounded with totally white snow field around @ Ito Sanctuary
Moderate Trekking in Kushiro Marshland National Park
You can enjoy walking on the boardwalk, snowshoe walking or cross county skiing when the area is totally covered with snow all around, feeling so fresh breathing air purified by fauna in the marshland. This park is the habitat for about 2000 kinds of flora and fauna, some of them are survivors from the last ice age. Take a deep breath for fresh air fully in your body and you will live as long as them!

Half day tour of Biei from Asahikawa
Starting from Asahikawa Station, you can visit Patch work RD, take some pictures of Seven-star tree, Ken & Mary tree. Next drive to Blue pond. Take a little walk and enjoy the magnificent view. After that visit Shirahige falls and finally to Tokachidake Bogakudai observation, enjoy the view of Tokachi mountain range and a panoramic view of Asahikawa and Furano.
