The Great Buddha
The Great Buddha in Kotokuin Temple in Hase is the most famous sight in Kamakura.
Hase Temple
Hase Temple is about 10 minutes' walk from the great Buddha, a flower temple with eleven-headed Kannon Statue and an ocean view.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is the biggest shrine in Kamakura with two ponds.

Hokokuji is a temple with a famous bamboo forest.

“Lovely Day in Tokyo”
My husband and I did the 6 hour tour our first day after arriving in Tokyo and it was a great start to our trip. We chose to have Yukiko take us to the Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Gardens and the Senso-ji Temple. She took us on the subway and showed us a few shortcuts to navigate our way around. She gave us background and history for the sites we visited and answered all our questions. We had lunch together and enjoyed learning about her life in Tokyo and about her family. We highly recommend Yukiko!

Trip to Japan
“Excellent guide in Tokyo”
Yukiko took us to the park where we got our first real cherry blossom experience! She also took us to a very nice lunch restaurant, got us to visit a secluded shrine that almost nobody knew about, and told us about Tokyo and Japan history along the way.
