The Great Buddha in Kotokuin Temple in Hase is the most famous sight in Kamakura.

Hase Temple is about 10 minutes' walk from the great Buddha, a flower temple with eleven-headed Kannon Statue and an ocean view.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is the biggest shrine in Kamakura with two ponds.

Hokokuji is a temple with a famous bamboo forest.

“A Wonderful Introduction to the Magic of Tokyo”

“A Great 1st Day in Japan”
We hired Yukiko for our first day in Tokyo (and Japan) to help us get our bearings. She ended up being a perfect choice. She is conscientious, visiting our hotel a day early to make sure things went smoothly. She patiently showed us the ropes, helping us figure out how to pay fares and navigate the subway, so we could function on our own.
