About Tour Guide Yukiko K.

My name is Yukiko . I have a national license for a tour guide in English. I live in Tokyo on weekdays and go back to my house in Kamakura on weekend. I like both cities.

Tokyo is one of the most exciting cities in the world. Kamakura is a traditional city with history and nature. I like communicating with people.

My family and I had homestay students from all over the world and my children call me "mother of the world." I like learning foreign languages. I speak a little German and I learned a little Italian last year. I also have a license for teaching Japanese to foreigners as a second language. It would be a great pleasure for me to make your trip to Japan more valuable and impressive through my explanation of Japanese culture and history,

I am looking forward to seeing you.

The Best Decision We Made in Japan, Touring with Yukiko

Our tour with Yukiko was outstanding. She met us at our hotel, which made everything so easy, and from that moment on the day flowed perfectly. Her knowledge of Tokyo was exceptional, and she made sure every part of the tour matched what we wanted to see and experience. Yukiko is warm, caring, and incredibly generous with her time and information. Having her as our guide truly elevated our trip, it was honestly one of the best decisions we made in Japan. We would book her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Yukiko. Thanks Tammy & Kim.

Dear Tammy, Thank you for your great review. You are the best team for a journey. At the moment I saw you at your hotel, you were so lively that I expected nice tours with you. You were interested in everything I explained. So, you experienced modern and historical sides of Tokyo and appreciated nature and history in Kamakura. You are such attractive ladies with a good sense of humour that I really enjoyed talking with you. I laughed the most during my tours in my life. I felt we understood each other. Please give my best regards to your best friend. Kim. P.S. Thank you for nice pictures. Photos in Kamakura are perfect and especially I am glad to get the first one. now in Holland, Yukiko

Lovely Day in Tokyo

My husband and I did the 6 hour tour our first day after arriving in Tokyo and it was a great start to our trip. We chose to have Yukiko take us to the Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Gardens and the Senso-ji Temple. She took us on the subway and showed us a few shortcuts to navigate our way around. She gave us background and history for the sites we visited and answered all our questions. We had lunch together and enjoyed learning about her life in Tokyo and about her family. We highly recommend Yukiko!

Dear Susan and Paul, Thank you for a nice review! You were so interested in and the best listeners of my explanation of brief Japanese history. It was a great pleasure for me that we had empathy when I introduced the poem by Emperor Meiji on world peace. You were so kind, followed me very well and asked me a lot of keen questions I know that you are a nice couple and have a good family. I enjoyed being with you very much. Yukiko
