“Lovely Day in Tokyo”
My husband and I did the 6 hour tour our first day after arriving in Tokyo and it was a great start to our trip. We chose to have Yukiko take us to the Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Gardens and the Senso-ji Temple. She took us on the subway and showed us a few shortcuts to navigate our way around. She gave us background and history for the sites we visited and answered all our questions. We had lunch together and enjoyed learning about her life in Tokyo and about her family. Half Day Trip in Tokyo
Begin the day with a visit to Meiji Shrine, the largest shrine in Tokyo. In the afternoon, you can choose between exploring Asakusa—home to Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo—or the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, which was once the site of Edo Castle.
