Famous for its 11-headed Kannon statue. Its beautiful garden is also famous.

11 meters in height and weighing over 100 ton huge statue is the most symbolic spot in Kamakura.

I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama.

I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. “One Day in Tokyo with Kaneo U.”

Before our tour, Kaneo was very responsive planning the day. We discussed our interests and Kaneo planned out a schedule to see the sights we were most interested in seeing. Our tour was a combination of walking and using public transportation. We also enjoyed a tea house which served matcha and later a sushi lunch. Kaneo explained the sights and answered our questions. We would recommend Kaneo if you are looking for a guide.

“Family tour ”

Kaneo was an elamazing guide for our first visittoTokyo. He created options for our day but was extremely flexible throught the day as he got to know us and learn more about our interests. “Great first day in Japan!”

Kaneo toured 5 people today aged ranging from 16 to 53. He is a brilliant guide. Kind, knowledgeable, funny and flexible! He helped us with items that were not on the orginal itinerary. He answered all of our many questions and guided us around Tokyo with an insiders knowledge. Also I must add that his communication before the trip was excellent! Don't hesitate to book!
