Meeting Point
Your hotel lobby in Kyoto
- (OR at Kyoto station) *Please let me know your hotel name and its location. *If you are arriving at Kyoto station by bullet train, I will meet you on the platform, so let me know the train number and train car number. In case of regular train, we will meet in front of Kyoto Station Tourist Information center.
Cultural sites of east side or West side
We visit a few cultural sites that can include an older temple where emperor had lived and more recent one that is sophisticated in designing to compare, so that I can give you an introduction of our long history and architectural view point in each site. You can also learn Shinto and Buddhism as well.
Lunch
Japanese food is one of our important cultures. A nice Japanese type of simple lunch to have a break. During the lunch, you will be introduced a variety of ingredient used and how they are cooked, together with green and brown tea to try out.
Old Kyoto town
We commute to the central area. I usually leave the afternoon a little flexible depending on your preference/ interests/ walk-pace. Some want to explore local artisan’s studio/shops to see how they lasted for generations, genuine kimono gallery, foodies to explore or more locally important cultural sites to understand the deeper insight of the city.
Ending Point
Area where you like to be dropped off in Kyoto central area
