There are many old streets in old capital Kyoto area. I design a walking tour set of 31 streets.You can see the true Kyoto in this tour which is not in current tourism. It is like Kyoto 30 years ago.In some streets, You could see traditional dying shops for Yuzen which is a traditional dyeing method of Kyoto.You can visit some of the shops and I will interpret between the shop owner and you.

Meeting Point
At the lobby in your Hotel (in Kyoto city only)
9:00 Our tour start at Sanjou station or your hotel. The we go west along Anekouji street.
12:00 We have lunch at some restraurant along Anekouji street.
14:00 We will get Nishiouji-oike station, but it depends on how many shops we visited.
Ending Point
Nishiouji-oike station station (Keifuku railway) or Nishiouji-sanjou station(subway)

Tour Important Information
In this tour, you can drop into your favorite shops. And guide the basic explanations in the shops and interprets between you and shop clerks.
You will walk long(the street length is around 4.7km from Sanjou station to Nishiouji-oike station).
So you have to wear suitable shoes for walking.
The tour hours are fixed, so when we are in the middle of tour, we finish the tour.
If we leave hours, we can go a neighbor street.

About Tour Guide Yoshiharu K.
Hi! I'm Yoshiharu. Please call me Yoshi. Yoshi means "good" in Japanese! I'm a good man (^^);;;.
I was born in Kyoto but I lived there 3 months. Then my family moved to Osaka and I grew up in Osaka.
So I am almost Osakan.
When I was young, my hobby was traveling by bicycle. I went cycling around most part of Japan except Shikoku.
In my family rule, Shikoku is in bad direction because my grand father died just after his Shikoku pilgrimage.
So I want to have a cycling tour not only in Kyoto (coming soon!) but also all part of Japan someday.
I am interested in Japanese history.
I am a National Certificated Guide. And I have "Kyoto Tourism Culture Certification 3rd grade", "Osaka Expert Certification 3rd grade", "Nara Concierge 2nd grade" and "Karuizawa Web test 3rd grade".
So I have expert knowledge about Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Karuizawa and common knowledge about Kobe.
Besides I like gadgets, so I can guide you DenDen town in Osaka.

“Great tour and Yoshi went above and beyond!”
Yoshi gave our family of 4 a wonderful tour of the Kyoto sites in addition to the history of the area. He met us at our hotel, clearly went over the itinerary and took us to all the sites we wanted to see. For lunch, he recommended a nice restaurant that we would not have gone to if on our own along with a local coffee shop that we really enjoyed. In addition, during the tour, I misplaced my purse while we were in transit. Yoshi went above and beyond by speaking to the workers at the last site we went to, stopping at the police box and calling the bus company. During our lunch, the bus company called Yoshi and told him it was on their bus. I am certain my belongings would have been lost if it were not for Yoshi. If we travel to the area again, we will be sure to schedule another tour with Yoshi. He is very knowledgeable about the area, is passionate and such a nice person. Most of them are older than Kyoto and are not Zen temple. Nara is quieter than Kyoto and Osaka. More than one thousand friendly deer live with Nara citizens. And also Nara has a lot of local food like Sushi, Ramen and so on. You would be able to have unique experience.
Himeji : Hyogo Golden Route (one of five tours)
Hyogo prefecture is about 150km long in north-south direction. There are many sight seeing spots, not only Kobe, Himeji but also Izush-Toyooka, Tanba-Sasayama Awaji island. So Hyogo government decleared "Hyogo Golden Route" as recommended tours. I would like to guide those areas where tourists do not know well. Each area is one day tour. You can have a different experience from Kyoto or Osaka.

Toriimoto walking tour & secret waterfall ( hidden course of Kyoto north of Arashiyama )
We will take a walking tour of northern part of Arashiyama district called Toriimoto which has a historical landscape. This tour involves a small hiking to visit a sacred training ground of Buddhism where monks practice Takigyo which is a practice of meditation to stand under a waterfall.
