“Amazing day trip with a great guide!!! Highly recommend!!!”
We spent the day with Tomoe. She took us around Kyoto and Nara and made sure we knew all the tips about visiting the places we went. We saw the deer on the way up to the Todai-ji Temple and saw the Kasuga Taisha shrine, as well as the Fushimi Inari gates. She went out of her way to take photos for our family as well! Very kind, educational and informative throughout the entire day! Highly recommend having her as a guide!!

“Flexible and accommodating guide ”
A big thank you to Tomoe for giving me clear clear directions to find the location of my next meeting point. She has also been most flexible and accommodating to change my tour date to Shiga even though it fell on a national holiday. Very friendly and I highly recommend Tomoe.

“Tomoe is a great and extremely understanding guide”
We, my husband and I, booked two days with Tomoe. On the first day I had to send my husband alone with her due to having sprained my ankle earlier that week and being exhausted by it. She was very understanding and took my husband around, explaining much of the history of the places they visited. On the second day, I was able to join and we visited 3 other places. During this time, Tomoe was very considerate to me, was happy to walk at my pace and I was able to rest when needed, and during all this she explained even more history which was great! I cannot recommend Tomoe enough to any others wishing a pleasant day tour of Kyoto! (She also provided little tips and hints for visiting other areas, too!)

(118 reviews)Dear Gina, Thank you very much for such a wonderful review! Yes, I spent the first day only with your husband, visiting places located in the west side of Kyoto, and the second day with you, and your husband, visiting places located in the east side of Kyoto. I was really glad to be able to see you on the second day. I really hope that your ankle will get better and you will have no problem to walk. There are many other good places to visit in Kyoto. I hope that you will come back to visit such places. Thank you very much for booking me as your guide. I enjoyed exchanging mails with you! TOMOE
