“Lovely local guide for a family of 4”
Tomoe was a lovely guide who took the time to know our interests and what we wanted to see and suggested an itinerary before we arrived. We are a family of 4 including 2 girls (9,12). Great knowledge of Japanese history. We had a lovely time seeing the sights and also knowing how locals lived. She also gave us clear instructions on how to catch the train from Osaka to Kyoto and back. Thanks Tomoe :)

Dear Wendy, Thank you very much for your warmhearted review. Actually, I wanted to take you to the places with few people to enjoy Kyoto. Walking with umbrellas among many people was not easy, however, I had a wonderful time with you on such a rainy day! I was happy to talk with you many things about my country. I do hope that you will come to Kyoto again and I can see your lovely daughters in the future! TOMOE

“Prefect day in Kyoto”
We had a wonderful and insightful day with Tomoe in Kyoto. The communication before we met was clear and helpful. She had a great plan for the day and kept sharing her knowledge about the city, culture, and traditions throughout the tour. Her English is very good, and our youngest daughter especially appreciated her explanations. It felt personal and cared We highly recommend her guiding services

“A perfect half day in Kyoto”
Tomoe was incredibly accommodating from the beginning. I arrived in Kyoto from Tokyo in the morning and she helped me store my luggage at the train station. Next we went to Yasaka Koshindo temple. It is a very colorful temple with kukurizaru, colored balls of fabric shaped like a monkey. Next, we walked through Kiyomizuzaka. A historic shopping area with great food and souvenirs. I enjoyed walking along the streets on the way to the temple. Next we went to the Kiyomizudera Temple. It was an incredible building with a balcony over a cliff built using no nails. The scenery is also gorgeous. Lastly, we went to the Sanjyusangendo temple where they had 1000 gold Buddha statues protected by 28 warrior statues. It was an incredible building and artwork to behold. Tomoe ensured I safely collected my luggage from the train station and made it to my hotel. She even gave me chocolates as a present. Overall, Tomoe is an amazing guide, who goes above and beyond for her guests.

Also, I was surprised and glad to see you looking each Buddhist statue carefully at Sanjyusangendo Temple. I do hope that you will come to Kyoto and I can see you, such a sincere person again!
