This tour offers a hands-on experience in preparing everyday Japanese home cuisine, particularly of Sendai region. There will be several dishes for you to choose. We'll start by selecting the dishes you wish to create, followed by a visit to a local grocery store. Although most product information will be in Japanese, I'll provide full explanations.
Once our shopping is complete, let's head back and start cooking!

Meeting Point
At exit of Kita-Yobancho Station
- Since this subway station is closed to my home, I appreciate if you can take a train and come to this station.
Local grocery store
The grocery store that we go daily is about 10 minutes walk from the subway station. Here, you will discover fresh, local ingredients and learn how to select the best produce for your dishes.
Homecooking class starts
Once we purchase all the necessary materials and ingredients, we will head back to my home, where it is just 5 min away from the grocery store. Let's start our Japanese Homecooking class!
Preparing 3 dishes
We are thinking to make three diffrent kinds of dishes, 1 main dishes, 1 soup, and 1 dessert. You are welcome to take an video while cooking so that you can make the same thing by youself at your home country. Maybe the materials are slightly different or not easy to obtain in your home country, but you can always replace ones to what you like.
