Would you like to hike the mountain that has a good view of Mt Fuji?
After walking the trail on the mountain, you see lake Saiko in Aokigahara forests, the sea of trees form the above.
And you know the reason why it is called the sea of trees.
I recommend the tour for nature lovers and people like hiking.

Hello!My name is Chinami.
I have a national licence as a tour guide. I know well not only the nature of Mt Fuji area, but also history of Mt Fuji as a world cultural heritage site.I like to talk with people from all aver the world. So I want to have great time with you and enjoy local meals, wine, and so on.
Let's share a wonderful moment in Japan!
“Best tour guide ever”
We spent the day seeing the sites around Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Chinami would have to be the best guide we have had, ever. This was our fourth visit to Japan and the whole day went by smoothly. We adjusted our itinerary on the run due to overcrowding at some stops. Our group today consisted of 8, 4 adults and 4 children. Nothing was too hard. The restaurant Chinami chose was perfect, a small authentic Japanese restaurant that served large portions at very reasonable prices. The highlight for us was the sake brewery tour. Highly recommended this to anyone visiting this area. Thank you Chinami for an amazing day. If we are back in the area would have no hesitation in contacting you again.

Thank you very much for wonderful review. I feel sorry that you had to skip to the Ropeway and wind cave. (and carrying stuff you bought all day long...) However, you were so lucky to see Mt Fuji most of time on the day, which many travelers can't. I am considering a new tour for different alcohol, please join the tour as well as different scenery in Mt Fuji area! Thank you again and take care, everyone!
“Chinami san was wonderful”
Chinami San picked us up at our hotel in Kawaguchiko right on time. The weather was cloudy, slightly rainy, but pleasant so she changed our itinerary to accommodate the weather, took us to the Autumn Festival and craft fair and an amazing kimono museum. We ate lunch at a great place, rode the boat and saw beautiful scenery. She also so kindly took the time to check bus and train schedules and take us to Kawaguchiko Station and helped us get bus tickets to Mishima Station so we could connect to the shinkansen to Kyoto. She also helped two in our group to exchange their bus tickets back to Tokyo for an earlier bus. Her English is perfect too. Highly recommend!

Thank you vey much for the review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the tour. I concerned about the weather and crowed because of Sunday. But we could avoid including lunch time, which was good. I appreciated your kindness and had great time with all of you. Please come back in different season and enjoy other part of Mt Fuji more next time . Keep in touch and enjoy yourselves in Kyoto!

Full day tour in Mt Fuji area

“Mt Fuji Lake Kawaguchiko”
We were in Japan for two weeks and spent one of our favorite days with Chinami. When planning this day with her, I listed several sites we wanted to see in the Mt Fuji Five Lakes/Lake Kawaguchiko area. Thankfully she suggested we slow down and choose quality over quantity. We hiked up the Arakurayama Sengen Park and enjoyed a stunning view of Mt Fuji with the Chereito Pagoda in the foreground. Though cherry blossom season and November autumn are the best times to see Mt Fuji, a lovely fluffy collar of October clouds provided the perfect contrast to the brown top of the mountain. Next we went to the Itchiku Kontos Kimono Museum and private garden which was beyond fabulous. Photos are not allowed there to capture one of our favorite memories of Japan for our family and friends. We then stopped at a restaurant by the lake chosen by Chinami for hoto noodles, a local specialty of the Fuji Five Lakes region. We ended our day with visiting Oshino Hakkas and Oishi Park. Chinami was a lovely guide who was organized, knowledgeable about so many things (nature, history, art), enthusiastic about Japan and life, and very friendly. She knew how to comfortably pace the day and keep our interest. In retrospect, we would have stayed in the Lake Fuji area for one more day with her as our guide. Thank you, Chinami!

Thank you very much for such a great review. I am grad to know that you enjoyed the tour even I made a big mistake for one of your member. We have had still humid climate and little chance to see Mt Fuji comparing average this time of the year. Autumn leaves just starts, however, they haven't changed colors yet either. Please come back to Mt Fuji area in different season and stay longer. You said you are interested in wines, so enjoy Japanese wine next time as well. Take care everyone and keep in touch. Chinami
