Nagoya Castle
A historic symbol of Nagoya, offering a glimpse into the life of a samurai. Although you cannot enter the main keep, you can visit the beautifully restored Honmaru Palace, completed in 2018.

You will visit two different pavillions here--textile and automobiles. Discover Japan's industrial evolution through hands-on exhibits and fascinating machinery.

Enjoy your lunch from the variety of modern Japanese foods including local specialities such as Hitsumabushi( grilled eel), Hida-beef, Tempura, Kishimen ( flat-shaped noodles), etc....
Hisaya-Odori Park
Take a relaxing walk through a peaceful green space and enjoy a view of the iconic Mirai Tower. On the way, you’ll pass through underground malls and food halls where you can see how locals shop and live.

The museum is normally closed on Mondays. However, if Monday is a national holiday, it will be open on Monday and closed on Tuesday instead.

“Highlight Tour of Nagoya”
I had such a lovely time with Tommie on my solo trip to Nagoya! She was extremely knowledgeable about the city and places we visited, and had answers to all of my random little questions I asked. She took me to many places in the time that we had and always made sure I was comfortable. I told her I enjoyed nature, so she took me to a tea house and garden which was beautiful. She even recommended some food places for me to try after our tour, which I visited afterwards and had the best meal of my entire trip. Thank you so much, Tommie! Tommie T. Was excellent, we did not know what to expect at this port stop. She took us around to many sights seamlessly. Subway, bus and walking, do not think we missed anything. Nagoya Golden Tour
Nagoya is the 4th largest city in Japan with a population of about 2.2 million. I would like to guide you Nagoya Castle, Osu Kannon Temple, old shopping streets, Oasis21 and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle was first built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612. Afterwards it was burnt down in 1945 and it was reconstructed in 1959. You can see Golden Shachi on the both ends of the top roof. Furthermore the Honmaru (the keep of a castle) reconstructed in 2013 is open to the public, too.
