We will visit Wazuka village, the hometown of Uji tea, excellent quality of green tea. The landscape of tea plantations, built on the mountain slope, has 800 years of history. It was designated as the first scenic property of Kyoto Prefecture, as well as one of the Japan Heritages.

Visit to tea plantation
We will enjoy the landscape of Wazuka tea plantations on foot or by e-bike. The guide will tell you about Uji green tea, how the landscape has been made, etc. Then you will taste Uji tea at cafe.

I'm a national certified English tour guide.Since I was born and raised in Nara, I'm familiar with the sightseeing spots and attractions of Nara, and neighboring city, Kyoto.
Nara and Kyoto, old capitals of Japan, retain time honoured structures and art works. What is more, beautiful gardens and picturesque landscapes are always waiting for you!
I'm also a traveler who especially love to explore local foods and crafts, which have been passed down from generation to generation.

“Kyoto autumn tour”
Michiko was lovely, her communication prior to the tour was excellent, she met us at our hotel on time and we set off early to avoid the crowds, Michiko took us to some places that we would never have found without her which we loved, she was happy to change things around as the day went on and was very informative along the way, we really enjoyed our time with Michiko and could not recommend her highly enough, thank you Michiko ️!!

It was also a wonderful experience for me to spend an autumn day in Kyoto with such a relaxed, generous and open minded couple. It was truly relaxing hiking on Monkey Mountain and walking through the old preserved areas with few tourists. Most of all, your stories about your lovely family and life were fascinating! “Excellent Osaka Highlights Tour”
We had a very short time in Osaka and wanted to see some of the major sights. Michiko took us to 3 sights & we had lunch at a very good tempura restaurant she selected. She also accomodated my husband’s mobility issues. We would not have been able to do as much as we did without her. She is a great guide, kind, & excellent communicator. I highly recommend her!

“Touring around Nara Park with Michiko T.”
My husband and I, and another friend, had a wonderful day with Michiko exploring Nara. It was a rainy day in Nara but Michiko was able to modify our itinerary to make the most of our visit. We saw the deer, visited Todai-ji (Great Buddha Hall), and saw Kasuga Taisha. We had matcha tea in a very typical Japanese place. We went to lunch together and had great ramen in a thick, white chicken broth. Afterwards, she escorted us shopping and took us to some unique places that specialize in Japanese crafts. Michiko is friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed touring Nara with her. We would book Michiko again and we highly recommend her.

I was impressed by the way you walked a lot even in the rain and enjoyed everything, not only world heritage sites but also nature, culture, and local products. Especially, I was glad that your husband enjoys calligraphy at home and bought some utensils, or you and your friend enjoy choosing tabi-socks as souvenirs. Our ramen lunch was all the better after walking in the rain. I hope to see you again!
