“Samurai museum and bhuddist temple ”
Nao was an excellent tour guide. Other than myself, my mom and my dad were the only other people on the tour. Nao accompanied us on the trains to get to the samurai museum and to the bhuddist temple. It was also very nice of him to Take us to the vegetarian restaurant for the lunch. The samurai museum was very interesting and informative and the temple was very beautiful. I enjoyed the tour very much. It was also very nice of Nao to meet us at the hotel to take us on the tour. Suzette Carrillo

One-Day Spiritual Highlights of Nikko (Toshogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, Taiyuin, Futarasan Shrine)
Feel the atmosphere of Tokugawa Shogunate at the world heritage site! Rinnoji was established by Saint Shodo in the 8th century, and the beautiful Taiyuin mausoleum is located in the precincts of Rinnoji. Toshogu was built in the 17th century to worship Tokugawa Ieyasu. You can see the beautiful carvings of Yomeimon Gate, three wise monkeys, etc. Futarasan Shrine is famous for the benefit of good marriage and inviting good luck. The beautiful Shinkyo Bridge is a property of Futarasan Shrine.
Best Memories of Nikko
I will take you to Tosho-Gu Shrine and Rinno-Ji Temple in Nikko. Tosho-Gu was built about 400 years ago to worship Ieyasu Tokugawa who started Edo Period. It has just renovated as it was in early Edo period where you can see many beautiful buildings with carvings of animals such as the three monkeys and the sleeping cat. Rinno-Ji was established in 766 and combined with Tosho-Gu until 150 years ago. We will use a express train to Nikko and a bus there.
Nikko walking tour (The world heritage site and hidden treasure spots)
Experience the most personalized guided tour in Nikko, where I will meet you at JR Utsunomiya station or Tobu Nikko station. We'll take the bus to Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park. I will show you around both inside and in the garden. After the lunch break, we will go to Kanmangafuchi Gorge. Then we will walk to Toshogu Shrine and spend one and a half hours there. We will visit Rinnoji's Sanbutsudo Hall. On returning to Nikko station, we will stop at the Shinkyo Bridge.
