Walking tour around Shuri castle and Makishi public market

We visit Shuri castle inside, Shurei gate, little forest, and a panorama view, We go together to Makishi public market. You can eat dinner there. Also, you walk around machiguwa ( little down town) with a guide. You will have a chance to talk to Okinawan people who work at the market.

I like traveling because I learn a lot from people who I meet. Finally, I got a certificate for being an English tour guide. I would like you to spend meaningful time in Okinawa. Okinawa has unique culture, they mixed Japanese and Chinese way, then, built up a new own culture. With limited time, I hope you enjoy seeing a lot and knowing a lot.

“Significant sites from Battle of Okinawa, and Ryukyu culture”
We had a great day with Noriko-san yesterday visitingthe Peace Museum, Navy Underground Headquartes and Hacksaw Ridge, to get a feeling for the Battle of Okinawa, and its affect on Okinawan people. Also Okinawa World for culture, music, nature and beauty. Noriko was great company, and knowledgeable about everything we asked her. The day was well organised, and she booked an interesting lunch for us.

“A very interesting and informative tour”
We had a lovely Sunday tour with Noriko. She arrived at our hotel promptly and took us in her vehicle to the Peace Memorial, Haebaru Village Museum, the former Japanese Underground and Hacksaw Ridge. Noriko was a wealth of information and we understood her perfectly. Definitely recommend this tour and guide.
