Start the day by taking a bus from Minoh Kayano Station to Katsuo-ji Temple. Explore the temple’s history, hidden spots, and learn how to purchase a daruma doll. Trying an omikuji (fortune slip) is also recommended.
Next, enjoy a hiking trail to Ryuanji, ending at Minoh Waterfall, where you can soak in the refreshing natural atmosphere. From there, take a taxi to a day-use Onsen. Guests with tattoos will need to cover them with stickers or book a private room.

Meeting Point
Minoh Kayano station
- Please meet at Minoh Chino Station by 10:50 AM. We will take the 11:00 AM bus to Katsuo-ji Temple to start the tour.
Katsuoji Temple
Katsuo-ji Temple, known as the “Victory Temple,” is famous for its daruma dolls, symbols of good luck and success. Visitors can explore the historic grounds, discover hidden spots, and learn how to choose and buy a daruma. Trying an omikuji (fortune slip) is also a popular activity. The temple offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views, making it a favorite spot for both tourists and locals.
At Katsuo-ji Temple, you can enjoy a layered woodblock-style stamp rally. By the time you leave the temple, you’ll have created a beautiful postcard as a unique souvenir of your visit.
Ryuanji Temple
Enjoy a scenic hike to Ryuanji Temple. Along the way and at the temple, I will explain its history, significance, and traditional ranking, providing insight into Japanese culture and temple customs.
Minoh Waterfall
Next, visit Minoh Waterfall, a beautiful natural spot known for its refreshing atmosphere and scenic views. If you’re lucky, you may also see wild monkeys in the surrounding forest, adding a touch of excitement to your hike.
Hot sping spa
After the hike, we will take a taxi to Minoh Yumoto Suishun, a relaxing day-use onsen. Although it is a large public bath facility (super sento), the atmosphere is calm and pleasant—perfect for washing away the sweat from the hike and unwinding.
If you have a tattoo, please let me know its size and location. If it can be covered with a seal or tape, you can still enjoy the public bath. If not, I can guide you to another tattoo-friendly sento instead.

I was born and raised in Osaka, so I’m a true local! I love traveling—both around Japan and overseas—and discovering new places, cultures, and of course… delicious food!
In addition to being a guide, I also run my own office as a certified labor and social security attorney in Japan. Thanks to this professional background, you can feel assured that I’m a trustworthy and responsible guide who can flexibly arrange tours to fit your needs.
Before starting my own practice, I also worked as a tour conductor for domestic bus tours, traveling all around Japan for a year. This experience gave me the chance to visit many regions and learn how to take care of guests in different travel settings.
I can take you on food tours to hidden local bars and restaurants loved by Osakans, or guide you through Japan’s rich history with visits to shrines, temples, and castles. Whether you want to experience Osaka like a local foodie or dive into cultural traditions, I’ll create a tour that’s perfect for you.
I’m also a photography enthusiast, so you’ll get some great photos taken by me as a souvenir from our tour!
Let’s enjoy Osaka together—just like locals do!
