“A Wonderful Day in Nara with Our Amazing Guide, Hiroki!”
From start to finish, our day trip to Nara with Hiroki was nothing short of exceptional. He greeted us with a warm smile at our hotel and made the entire experience feel comfortable and personalized. His kindness and attention to detail truly set the tone for a relaxing and insightful journey. As we explored Nara’s rich cultural sites, Hiroki shared fascinating historical and local knowledge that deepened our appreciation of each stop. He was incredibly patient, and it was clear he takes great pride in making sure his guests feel welcome and informed. A delightful highlight at the end of our tour was a visit to a charming goldfish aquarium—a surprise we hadn’t expected, but one that added a unique and peaceful touch to our day. It was such a thoughtful addition that made the entire trip feel even more special. Hiroki not only guided us with grace, but also ensured our comfort by picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel. His genuine care and quiet enthusiasm made this day in Nara truly unforgettable. Highly recommend Hiroki to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable experience in Nara or Osaka Japan! Thanks for the amazing memories Hiroki - Troy & Z!!!

“A GREAT GUIDE, knowledgeable, nice and wants to make sure you're enjoying your tour!”
We traveled around Osaka, Kyoto and went to parts of Nara and Kobe with Hiroki. Hiroki planned out a remarkable 4 day tour. First 2 days we spent in Osaka. Went to Osaka Castle, visited some shrines and temples, along with hitting major spots like Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi. Hiroki is very knowledgeable and provided many details and facts about everywhere we went. And when we asked questions about things he didn't know, he was quick to look it up and answer those questions as well. Our visit to Kyoto was fabulous. We asked to be in Kyoto at night as we wanted to see it both during the day and in the evening. This wasn't a problem and Hiroki adjusted our schedule so we could see Kyoto both ways. We went to Arashiyama, what a beautiful place! Visited the bamboo forest, monkey park and kimono forest (like downtown Arashiyama). The Kinkaku-ji Golden Temple and the Fushimi Inari Tori Gates are amazing sites not to be overlooked. We walked through some beautiful places in the evening. Gion and Kiyomizu are gorgeous at night. Gives you a different perspective or an older traditional look at Japan. There is so much Kyoto has to offer. Our visits to Nara and Kobe were short and specific. We wanted to see the deer park in Nara. The bowing deer are nostalgic for me. We used to have a Japanese Deer Park here in California a long time ago. Although I don't remember the deer nipping to get food, it was still a lot of fun to feed them. We also visited Todai-Ji where there is a huge bronze buddah. It is enormous! Our visit to Kobe was really to try real Kobe Beef. Hiroki found a place which had the history, kind of like a mini museum and teppan restaurant. Let me say one thing, It takes a lot of planning to make all these things happen in such a limited time. There is no way we could have planned, navigated and done half of these things without Hiroki's help. Our trip to Osaka was filled with wonderful memories and no stress! A big big THANK YOU Hiroki! Forever Grateful!

Thank you, Steve. Your feedback overrated me, but I am very pleased to make your tour special. It is very fun to work on your itinerary because you are too nice person for me. How was your stay in Korea? Did you come back to the US already? Thank you for the plenty of snacks and some gratuity. I hope everything will go well for you. Do not forget the tour to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe!! Thank you very much. Hiroki

“Himeji Castle and Kobe ”
We had a fantastic day tour with Hiroki. He took special care of my sister, who walks with a cane, and accommodated all our requests in customizing this tour for 2 senior women. We started out with a bullet train ride to Himeji Castle and gardens- what a beautiful castle. Then we had a fun afternoon in Kobe- visited the AtoA aquarium and the chocolate museum. Both these sites will also be very popular to see if you’re traveling with children. Hiroki planned this tour beautifully and we highly recommend it. We can’t wait to come back with the grandchildren.

Osaka nightlife tour
Osaka’s true nightlife magic lies beyond Dōtonbori’s neon glow, tucked into narrow alleys and behind discreet doors where locals gather to eat, drink, and unwind. In Hozenji Yokocho, lantern-lit stone paths lead to intimate izakayas serving yakitori, ramen, and sake late into the night. Nearby, Ura-Namba—“Back Namba”—buzzes with small bars and street stalls where friendly regulars welcome newcomers.

Tour of Osaka Tenjin-matsuri Festival / Cruising on the river
(Highlights) Held in the evening of July 25 each year, this festival attracts more than a million spectators. Dozens of rafts full of invited, kimono-clad people towed by small boats go upstream the major river in the heart of Osaka, while on-lookers watch from the river bank, nearby bridges and the pier. There stand stalls selling varieties of food, filling in every nook and corner of the river bank. Thousands of fireworks are shot up into the night sky to the great enjoyment of visitors. (Origin of the festival) The myth says that in the year 951, two years after God descended from heaven and settled in the Tenmangu Shrine, they flowed a sacred float in the river from the nearby beach and a funeral hall was built and "misogi" purification ceremony held at the shore where the float reached. Then, those living near the shrine and worshipers built a ship to contributed to the shrine. (How to enjoy) You can see rafts full of "yukata"-clad people in the festive mood on board slowly going upstream the river, while being soaked in the cool evening atmosphere. After dark, fireworks setting the skies ablaze make you sigh in joyful excitement. You can have whatever food you like at the stalls built in the riverbank. (Transportation) The JR train fare from Kyoto station to Osaka station is 560 yen and the subway fare, 180 yen. (Others) Since the venue is very crowded, please do your utmost in protecting yourself from being bumped by others and from theft. If you are there on the days other than the festival day, you can enjoy cruising on board a sightseeing ship called "Osaka water-bus" for a fee of 1,700 yen for one-hour ride. You can see the landscape of Osaka city from different angles as the ship sails along the river. Daytime only, however.

Osaka Skyscraper: ABENO HARUKAS
ABENO HARUKAS building has just opened on March 7th, 2014. It's the tallest building in Japan with a height of 300 meters, exceeding even the Yokohama Landmark Tower by 4 meters. The Abeno and the Ten-noji area is the commercial center and transportation hub of Southern Osaka. Abeno Harukas has an observatory deck on the 59th and 60th floor, "Tenku Teien" or Sky Garden on the 58th floor and an observatory restaurant on the 57th floor. The Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel is on the 19th, the 20th floor, and also from the 38th to the 55th floor. Offices are on the 21st to the 37th floor. There's a museum on the 16th floor and the Kintetsu Department Store covers everything from the 14th floor down to the B2 level. In particular, the 360 degree panoramic view of Osaka city from the top floor is a picturesque night scene because there aren't any high buildings around the ABENO HARUKAS. Inside the Kintetsu Department Store you will find many luxury brand boutiques, shops and restaurants. I'm sure you'll enjoy shopping and eating there. There are also many restaurants at Q's mall, Mio, or Tennoji Station Building, which are buildings around the ABENO HARUKAS. Why don't you enjoy the magnificent view of Osaka from Osaka's newest skyscraper?
