Osaka Castle
- Located in a beautiful park, Osaka Castle is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. It holds a significant place in Japanese history, which I’ll be happy to share with you.
Shinsekai
Shinsekai is a retro neighborhood that captures the charm of Japan’s Showa era (early 20th century). Once home to an amusement park, it still retains a nostalgic atmosphere.
It’s also the birthplace of kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers, a local specialty), and you’ll find vintage arcades and vibrant neon signs throughout the area.
Namba
We’ll continue to Namba, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi – three lively districts all within walking distance of each other.
• Visit the famous Kuromon Market, known for its fresh street food.
• Explore Doguyasuji Street, a great spot for unique Japanese kitchenware and souvenirs.
• Stop by Namba Yasaka Shrine, home to a 12-meter-tall lion head.
Dotonburi
This is Osaka’s most famous entertainment district, known for its neon lights, bustling energy, and iconic landmarks like the Glico Running Man and the giant moving crab.
