This is a beautiful buddhist temple originally built on 1397.
We can see the shiny golden temple and the beautiful garden, and learn the history behind it.
Entrance fee: JPY500 per person
Nishiki Market
This is an old market which started more than 400 years ago.
We can enjoy the lunch near the market.
Cost of food: JPY2,000-3,500 per person
Gion (Geisha District)
Gion is the Geisha district in Kyoto. We can see the old Japan streets in this area. And we can see a real Geisha walking the streets if we have a good luck!!
Kiyomizu Temple
This is an old buddhist temple which started on 778. It’s one of the most famous and popular temples because of its beautiful structure and nature.
Entrance fee: JPY500 per person
Fushimi Inari Shrine
This is one of the most popular and famous Shintoism Shrines in Japan. It’s really famous because of the beautiful slopes full of Torii Gates in the mountain.

“Great full day Kyoto guided tour with Takashi”
Our tour with Takashi could not have been any better! His English was excellent and his short cuts thru train stations and knowledge made our day wonderful! He was very flexible and we saw everything we requested and more! The place he took us for lunch was delicious. Best guide ever

“Absolutely wonderful!”
Taka, as we called him, was incredible. We booked a 4 day personalized Kyoto/nara itinerary. Since the first moment we met him with his big smile we knew we were going to love him and we were right! His itineraries were wonderful. He always had something planned for my 14 year old. He catered to all of our needs always going above and beyond. I wish we would have known him before because we would have hired him for our entire Japan trip. That is how good he is. His English is amazing and Spanish close to perfect. Do not think twice about hiring Taka! You will not regret it. I will recommend him always with friends and family traveling to Japan! And if you enjoy Karaoke, he is an amazing singer too! Tour will start from the Hotel in Kyoto. Frst visit is Kinkakuji temple (Golden Pavillion ),then, to Ryoanji tmple where is famous for rock garden. I would like to take you to the following places, which are the three representative tourist destinations in this city: (1) Arashiyama It is the place where all the traditional natural beauties of Japan are combined together. They are Togetsukyo bridge, bamboo grove and the old temples. If you go up to the observation spot, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the gorge below. You can also see rickshaws of the olden times drawn by young people with smiling passengers on board. There are souvenir shops selling variety of goods and products. (2) Nijo-jo Castle (World Cultural Heritage Site) This castle was built in the early 17th century by the Tokugawa Shogunate government for the purpose of protecting the Kyoto Imperial Palace and as the accommodations when Tokugawa Shogun was in Kyoto. It was subsequently enlarged by successive Shogun. It is the castle as well as the palace, where you can see the powerful structures and beautiful gardens. You can learn, in addition, how great the power of Tokugawa Shogun was. (3) Kinkakuji temple (the Golden Pavilion) (World Cultural Heritage Site) The history of this temple began when the third Shogun of the Muromachi period acquired a tract of land in this area from a powerful statesman in 1397 and built a villa of his own to entertain the Emperor and members of the nobility. The upper two levels of the temple are covered with pieces of gold foil and are shining brilliantly against the background of the rich greenery. The pond in the foreground reflects the golden structure. It looks like the materialization of Pure Land of Buddha in this world. In addition, on the top of the golden structure is the shining phoenix.
