Osaka Castle Area
Explore the castle grounds or enter the castle museum, depending on your interests.
Kuromon Market and Doguyasuji
Walk through Osaka’s food market and kitchenware district. Lunch can also be included in the itinerary.
Hozenji Temple and Dotonbori
Visit a small temple, explore the surrounding alleys, and walk along the Dotonbori canal.

• Before booking, please tell me which places you would like to visit, what you would like to eat, how far you are comfortable walking, and your preferred pace.
• Pickup is available at hotels in central Osaka, Osaka Station, or Namba Station. Please contact me in advance if you would like to start outside central Osaka, at an airport, or at a port.
• Travel time from your hotel and between locations is included in the six-hour tour.
• The itinerary may be adjusted due to attraction closures, crowds, or transportation conditions.
• For groups of five or more, please contact me before booking. I will provide a separate quote based on the group size.
• Please contact me before booking if you use a wheelchair, have difficulty walking, have food allergies, or require any other assistance.

Hello! I’m a local guide based in the Kansai area, offering private and customized tours in Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto.
I enjoy helping visitors discover not only famous sights, but also the food, shops, neighborhoods, traditions, and everyday experiences that make Japan special. My tours are relaxed and flexible, with plenty of time for questions, conversation, photos, and spontaneous discoveries.
I also work as a Japanese language teacher, which has given me extensive experience communicating with people from different countries and explaining Japanese culture in a clear and approachable way.

We booked Aki for a day trip to Kyoto for our family of 4. We wanted to explore Kyoto and remove the stress of trying to find everything by ourselves. Aki planned the whole day for us based on our preferences and gave us an amazing day. Aki was super organised having planned our trip in advance, but was also flexible on the day to requests and ideas. Aki met us at our accommodation in Osaka and traveled with us the whole day. Aki is warm, kind and friendly, has great English and we really felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. She took time to get to know our two children (18 & 16) and connected with them like a big sister. We talked all day about anything and everything as we saw the sights and experienced the culture. We highly recommend Aki as an amazing tour guide. We'd give her 10 stars if we could!

Osaka, Spiritual Tour in Temple Town on Hilltop
Osaka dates back to the 6th century, when a national temple was constructed on a hilltop jutting out into the sea. In the Middle Ages, court nobles believed the “Pure Land of Buddha” was beyond the setting sun. They would watch the sunset from the hilltop. In the early 20th century, locals constructed a so-called “Paradise on Earth” at the foot of the hill, which was called “New World,” centered on the symbol tower named “Lead to Heaven Tower”
