This tour will visit Kawagoe, a nice day trip from Tokyo. Kawagoe is known as Little Edo with old streets, warehouses and a bell tower. We’ll walk the streets, try some local delicacies, and visit one or two local shrines and temples.

Meeting Point
Kawagoe Station
- Outside Starbucks located inside Kawagoe station next to the Tobu train line gate.
Koedo
Walk around Koedo old streets area, shop a little and enjoy the atmosphere
Kawagoe Candy street
Visit Kawagoe Candy street where you can try some local snacks and sweets. Sweet potato is famous in Kawagoe, you can even try sweet potato ice cream!
Kawagoe festival museum
A museum showcasing some of the floats used in the famous Kawagoe festival.
Lunch
I will choose a typical lunch spot.

Kawagoe Kumano shrine & Renkeiji temple
We will visit a shrine and a temple. Pray for a good relationship at Kumano shrine and good health at Renkeiji temple.

• This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
•Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.
The festival museum is closed 2 Wednesdays a month. If you choose a Wednesday we will visit an alternative location.
