Private Mt.Fuji -one day trip from Tokyo with Kaori

Private Mt.Fuji only for your group, starts/ends at Tokyo. Basic plan takes Express Train from Shinjuku to Kawaguchi-ko (one of the Fuji 5 Lakes). Transportation options are available upon your preferences. *Make an inquiry one month prior for train booking.
Car Option is recommended as public transportation at the destination is not good. If with public transportation, we might need to take a taxi occasionally to escape from too packed local buses. I'll support you to move smoothly.

Meeting Point
At your hotel in Tokyo 23 wards or Shinjuku Station
- I'll meet you at your hotel in Tokyo 23 wards. Or, Shinjuku Station to take an express train to Mt.fuji area. Following itinerary is [ Basic Plan by Fuji Kaiyu Express Train ]. With Car Option, whole day could be the best flexible with more visiting spots.
Take FUJI EXCURSION express train (1H55min)
8:30 Shinjuku - 10:25 Kawaguchiko
FUJI KAIYUU (富士回遊 or FUJI EXCURSION) is all reserved seat Ltd Exp. train to Kawaguchi-ko Lake, which is one of the 5 Lakes of Mt.Fuji.
Make sure you book this tour enough in advance to secure seats for this train, because very popular due to its imitated seats. Will be booked out soon after sales start one month prior to ride. If train tickets were booked out, we go for express bus.
Arriving Kawaguchi-ko Lake station
Walk 15min to Kawaguchi-ko lake shore, or take a taxi (5min).
Kawaguchi-ko Lake Sightseeing (Basic Spots to visit)
Spot 1 - Mt.Fuji Panoramic Ropeway (3min to mountain top by ropeway) *This ropeway often has long waiting line these days (at peak season, 60-90min). We can hike up (some 1H) to the top if you like hiking.
OR Arakurayama Sengen Park/Shrine (known as Chureito Pagoda)
You can select Chureito Pagoda instead of ropeway if you are fit with climbing stairs.
We walk up 398 steps to observatory. Photogenic view of whole Mt.Fuji with red five-story pagoda. Very popular in cherry blossom seasons.
I'll adjust itinerary accordingly.
Spot 2 - Kawaguchi-ko Boat cruise (20min)
Spot 3 - Oishi Park (Mt.Fuji view on the lake with seasonal flowers) & Hana Terrace (Many shops of sweet treats and souvenir made in Yamanashi, and Japanese crafts in the area full of plants and flowers.)

We can enjoy lunch around the Lake area. My recommendation is Houtou noodle, local speciality here. Thick wheat noodle with lots of vegetables in miso flavored soup.
(option) Saiko-lake area (Only by taxi or Car Option case)
The more quieter, serene area for further exploration.
・Saiko Lake - one of the Mt.Fuji Five lakes, located in west of the area.
・Saiko Iyashi-no-sato NENBA - a folk village facility with the site of old style thatched roof houses and traditional craft shops.
・Ice cave or Wind Cave + short Aokigahara forest trekking
We need to hire a taxi for Saiko area, since it's far and public transportation takes too long and not frequent. 3H hired taxi will cost up to 4 people : about 24,000 yen, up to 9 people : about 28,000 yen
(option) Oshino Hakkai (Only by taxi or Car Option case)
8 sacred ponds originate from snow melt water from Mt.Fuji. Used to be purification place for Mt.Fuji worshippers before climbing. We take a taxi to move between Oshino Hakkai to Kawaguchi-ko Lake shore (about 25min, 5,000yen/one way)
Take FUJI EXCURSION express train (1H52min)
We take either of below train upon your request.
・16:51 Kawaguchi-ko - 18:43 Shinjuku
(・17:36 Kawaguchi-ko - 19:27 Shinjuku )
Back to Tokyo (or end at destination in Mt.Fuji area)
I'll take you back to your hotel in Tokyo, or we can end at Shinjuku Station for your dinner afterwards.
End could be your hotel in Mt.Fuji area. Tour price would be the same, as guide goes back to Tokyo anyways. Let me know if prefer to end in Mt.Fuji Lake area.

Can assure the best experience with the best flexibleness. I'm happy to send you a proposal of Mt.Fuji by my car (160,000JPY including fuel, toll fees, parking for a whole day from Tokyo). Tour Important Information
・Be noted it takes at least 1H30min one way to get the Mt.Fuji area, and traffic congestions might affect our itinerary.
・Visibility of Mt. Fuji is highly dependent on the weather.

I'm originally from Shizuoka prefecture which has Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. I took 2 working-holiday-visa stays in my younger days. One is in Toronto, Canada, and another is Australia touring by motorcycle. One year respectively.
I love travel both international and domestic. That's why I love helping individual travelers rather than group tours, because I myself love travel freely. Love nature, gardens, trekking, greenery, also anime. My favorite is taking you to the off-the-beaten tracks where I love.

Really enjoyed my 1 day tour with Kaori! It was easy to communicate with her - both online and in person. She’s such a thoughtful and caring tour guide - don’t think I’ve ever met any guide that’s as genuine and kind as her. Right when we met, she took the time to share with me about the train system and even gave me a Tokyo guide + train map. Knowing that I wanted to try wearing a kimono, she proactively booked a kimono-rental reservation near our area of interest. She gladly took plenty of photos and videos for me during my day trip. She was also well-versed in the history behind these places of interest, managed to learn quite abit. When I was shopping, she would even kindly offer to carry my shopping bags so that I could shop more comfortably. The thing that really touched me was when she prayed for me to get a good outcome for Omikuji and luckily we did! Overall, such a great experience!
