Shokoji was established in 1471. The temple consists of 12 buildings. Among them, the main hall, the reception hall, and the entrance hall are designated as national treasures in Japan.

- The guide will pick up guests in front of the ticket gate.
Shokoji temple
We will arrive at the entrance of Shokoji temple.
Somon gate
Somon gate is about 9m tall and 5m wide. It is used in castle architecture.
Karamon gate
The gate has golden metal fittings. Phoenixes and dragons are carved.
Main hall
The main hall was built in 1795. It is designated as a national treasure.
Reception hall
This building has been as the oldest building at Shokoji temple. This reception hall is a large space for guests originally.
The entrance
We will come back to the entrance and take the car to the station.
