Mt. Futagami is located at the west of Toyama area. It is the 274m high mountain. There is abundant nature in the mountain. It is familiar with locals. People from the region often walk, run, and hike around the mountain for having their relaxing time. Takaoka city was originally developed as a castle town by a feudal lord, Mr. Maeda, 400 years ago. Kanayamachi town is known as the birthplace of Takaoka copperware in order to develop the castle town. Guests can appreciate the atmosphere of the old town with traditional houses. Takaoka 4km-hiking at Mt. Futagami
Mt. Futagami is located at the west of Toyama. It is a 274m high mountain. In the tour, we will hike the gentle slope on the mountain. Walking about 2km, we will climb up until the summit of Mt. Futagami. The elevation different is about 200m from the bottom to the top. Guests can feel comfortable in the nature of the mountain. On the way, guests can look over the view of Takaoka city.

“Toyama River Cruise and favorite local Ramen Hidden Gems”
Yoji’s service is always to the fullest. He was willing to adjust the pace and asked lots of questions to make sure he understand what we wanted. And he did. We booked him on 2 seperate days, and so he spent 2 nights waiting for us. He even was willing to pick us from hotel and drop us for dinner together. His English is impeccable. His global knowledge is also a plus. Really recommend him for private tour.

“An amazing day in Toyama”
Yoji was the absolute best guide. My sister and I had a fabulous day with him. He is very well educated in the United States so has an excellent mastery of the English language. He was also extremely flexible when we mentioned things we wanted to do and planned the perfect day for us according to our interests. He suggested some excellent stops to see beautiful wood carving we had not thought to see and found a great place for us to have a fabulous Japanese lunch. We enjoyed talking with Yogi about his beautiful young family and his life in Japan. I just wish we had more days that we could have spent with him.
