“Private tour of Toyama by a wonderful host”

Fumi picked us up from our cruise line at the port and had a planned itinerary for us so that we could see some of the highlights of Toyama. She took and accommodated our ideas into that itinerary which included the Glass Museum and lunch at a local restaurant and then a visit to a merchants house. All in all we had a wonderful experience Fumi was generous with her time and explanation and planning and communication. Picking us up in her car and taking us around was very comfortable and informative, We loved! The museum of glass, the building was spectacular and then our lunch spot was delicious - galls prawns yum! The visit to the merchant house was informative and enjoyable and to wander the neighbourhood and then come across a wonderful second hand shop with some vintage curios was fantastic. Fumi took us everywhere and we thoroughly enjoyed her company and her English and insight to local information was very well received. We would highly recommend her as a tour guide to curate a great sightseeing trip for the city of Toyama and surrounding areas, we really enjoyed her company.

“Excellent tour of Shirakawago Village and Shogawa River Cruise”

We had an excellent tour with Mr. Naoto visiting Shirakawa-go Village and taking the Gorge river cruise. The Shirakawa-go village is interesting and visually appealing - particularly since it was Sakura season (which happens later than in Toyama or Kanazawa). Shirakawa was somewhat crowded, but not unpleasantly so. It's also a pretty drive. Lunch was very good at a place that has trout sushi which is unique to the Toyama area.

We took the Gokayama tour and the snow wall tour as well with Naoto. He shared a lot of interesting information about the area. He was well organized and attentive. The Toyama area is gorgeous, and we had a wonderful time. Definitely you must tour Toyama with him.
