This itinerary can be customized to meet your needs and preferences. Send me a message with your requests!
Meeting Point
Sakuragicho Station / Hotel (in Yokohama)
- Starting at Sakuragicho station, we will be able to see all of Minato Mirai from here. If meeting at the hotel in Yokohama first, we will adjust the itinerary accordingly.
Red Brick Building (Akarenga)
If we start the tour early, we will walk around the Red Brick Building and admire its beautiful architecture. A building used previously as a customs or inspection warehouse, then headquarters for the U.S., and now a commercial area. If we arrive after 11AM, then we can take a look inside through the stores for some quick shopping and see more of its history.
Yamashita Park
Walk through Yamashita Park, a reclaimed area using the rubble from destroyed houses of the Big Kanto Earthquake in 1923, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Yamate Seiyoukan (Western Houses)
Walk through Yamate Seiyoukan, a secluded area for foreign settlers in Yokohama. Home to a beautiful rose garden, the French House, the British House, and more, you can get a taste of what it used to be like living in the 1920s as a foreigner in Japan.
Food trip at Japan's largest Chinatown
Have a snack or lunch at Yokohama's Chinatown, the biggest Chinatown in Japan. Shop for some local souvenirs or try getting your fortune told with palm reading.
Ending Point

Hi, I’m Mika! I’m half Japanese and half Filipino. I have been living in Yokohama for three years now and love showing family and friends around Japan! I also lived in Kyoto before for 6 months. I used to be an English teacher and a preschool teacher, but now work in tourism and hospitality. I have done tours in Tokyo, Yokohama, Enoshima, Kamakura, Hakone and Mt. Fuji! My style of touring is like showing a friend of mine the best spots to visit and explore. I look forward to meeting you in Japan!
