And it’s also popular so you should go early in the day before the tickets get sold out.

2. Cat Cafe
Do you like cats? If you do, spending an hour or two with these furry creatures could be a wonderful way to take a break from sightseeing. 3. Mount Takao
If you want to take a day to enjoy nature in Tokyo, you should try hiking Mount Takao. It’s only about 1 hour away from central Tokyo and it’s not a difficult mountain to climb. Beginners and even children can enjoy the hike. There’s even a cable car for people who want to go to the top but don’t want to climb the mountain. At the top, there’s a temple, a monkey park, and a beautiful view of the surrounding area. It’s especially popular during the season of the autumn colors and on weekends during the warmer months.

- From Shinjuku station, take the Keio line train to Takaosanguchi Station, the station at the foot of the mountain. It takes about 50 minutes and 390 yen.

5. Rainbow Promenade (Rainbow Bridge Walkway)
Rainbow Bridge is a huge bridge connecting Tokyo with the Bay Area of Odaiba. Usually, you drive over it in a car or cross it on the Yurikamome monorail. However, you can walk across the 1.7 km bridge in about 20 to 30 minutes. If you walk across around sunset, you’ll be able to take some amazing pictures.
