Samurai Museum and Busho Hall

I visited Samurai Museum and Busho Hall in Osaka Castle Park.
At Samurai Museum you can experience the Warring States period via the latest technology using 4k ultra-high definition video tunnel and holograms.
At Busho Hall you can try on samurai and ninja costumes.

I disguised myself as Toyotomi Hideyoshi wearing haori, or a short coat, and kaboto, or a war helmet of Hideyoshi. I'm sure you check out the dynamic special effects footage of Osaka Castle.

The performance of the Kanto Festival

Kanto Festival, one of the three major festivals in the Tohoku region, was held in Osaka Castle Park.  Kanto are long bamboo poles with  9 horizontal ones attached and many lit lanterns are hung on them.   As a kanto with 46 lit lanterns attached to the pole look like an ear of rice, the festival is also held to pray for a good harvest.

Local Mascots gathering from all over the country

In Osaka Castle Park, popular mascots gathered and they were devided in 2 parts, Toyotomi and Tokugawa groups, and thay run

(or walk ?) in three-leged race.  The attractions drawed a lot of families.
