Scott brought me to his favourite open-air museum: a heritage village depicting life to scale in the Meiji and Taisho Periods, and then the heritage museum afterwards. He knew so much about each site and explained it all very thoroughly, I learned a lot about life in Japan during these times and earlier. Highly recommend booking this tour and then finishing the day by having a beer or cider with your new friend, it was quite enjoyable! :)

Jack, I am so delighted/overjoyed that you enjoyed the tour. Likewise, I thought you were a great guest and your enthusiasm for both the tour and Japan was evident. You teaching me about the various cider was a great learning experience for me! Next time you find yourself planning a trip to Hokkaido, "book" your tour through GoWithGuide and reach out to me. If you would like me to cre4ate another tour that takes us "farther out" from Sapporo, that is very doable. Thanks again Jack. See you in the near future. Scott Sapporo Tour Guide.

“So informative, a must-see if visiting Sapporo!”

I had a wonderful time with Scott learning about the Ainu people, he is incredibly informative and puts a lot of passion into his work. He even quizzes you and keeps you involved while offering insights on the lives of the Indigenous Ainu. After feeding the mind, he takes you to feed the soul (and your belly) at an Onsen after lunch. The one we visited allowed tattoos and offered Indian food with delicious fresh nan. I will definitely want to revisit the area my next time in Hokkaido and have another hot spring experience. Would book with Scott again for sure!

“A Great Night In Sapporo!”

Ryota was an amazing guide during our bar-hopping tour through Susukino. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the entire night feel effortless. Thanks to him, we were able to connect with locals, discover great bars we never would have found on our own, and have a much more authentic experience. He was accommodating throughout the evening and made sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend Ryota if you're looking for a fun and memorable night out in Sapporo.

Thank you so much for your kind words! It truly means a lot to hear that you had such a great time. It was a pleasure showing you around Sapporo, and I'm so glad we could explore some local bars and create a more authentic experience together. Meeting wonderful people like you is one of the best parts of what I do. Thank you again for joining the tour and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. I hope to see you again the next time you're in Sapporo. Safe travels!
