My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. “A fabulous day with Kahori ”
Kahori was the perfect guide for our group of 6 ladies. She was professional, knowledgeable and fitted in with us like a friend. The transport, some entry tickets and lunch were booked in advance and the day ran smoothly at a pace we were comfortable with. We would highly recommend Kahori and hope one day we can revisit.

“Hiroshima with our guide Rika”
We had the most revealing day learning all about Hiroshima with our lovely guide Rika. “Beautiful Island with Great Views ”
Miyu was a great tour guide. She spoke very good English. She always made sure we were all together and stayed behind with the last person. She was patient when we were climbing up to the summit. She changed up the itinerary when needed and picked a fabulous place for lunch. She is a very friendly person that we felt very comfortable with her.
