Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. “Hiroshima tour”

This tour was Excellent , very educational and at the same time heart breaking! Rika our guide is a retired nurse but certainly found her calling in being guide. Her knowledge and passion for Hiroshima is incredible and we all agreed that she is one of the best guides we have ever had! A huge Thank You to Rika for the great tour , great lunch ( Okonomiyaki )! We had fun taking the trains , ferry & Tram and she made sure we caught our shuttle back to the ship!

Keiji is a very organized tour leader. He had day travel cards for the tram and ferry as well as admission tickets to the Atomic Bomb Museum prepurchased for us, saving a lot of time. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited and could answer our questions. The lunch at the restaurant he took to was delicious. A great day all around.
