I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. We were blessed with good weather and I'm sure you enjoyed the Kochi tour. Kochi Castle is one of the 12 oldest castles in Japan. It looks like 4 stories but 6 floors inside. It is completely different from European Castles. We had lunch that you liked at a good restaurant at Katsurahama Beach. Lastly we visited Makino botanical Garden and Chikurinji Temple where you looked bamboos with a strong life force. I hope you enjoy Japan trip on a cruise ship. I showed you the characteristics of the castle such as stone gutters, stone droppings and the like. Lastly we visited Makino Botanical Garden with conservatory where we saw beautiful plants (orchids, omnibus, giant bamboos), and five-storied pagoda at Chikurinji Temple. I hope you enjoy Japan trip. I'm very happy to receive your message. We visited popular temples --Kiyomizu, Kinkaku (Golden Pavilion) -- in Kyoto, and Osaka castle, Dotonbori from Osaka Port for 2 days. Your cruise ship moved to Kochi to enjoy seeing the Kochi Castle, Harimayabashi bridge, an interesting mechanical clock, Makino botanical garden and Chikurinji Temple. I'm sure you found the Kochi castle is completely different from Osaka Castle Osaka castle is the museum inside while Kochi is made of wood, one of the 12 castles that built before 1867 and now still exists.
