Let's take a train and a bullet train to Nagasaki city from Fukuoka! We visit Glover garden, Oura church(over view), Spectacle bridge, Suwa shrine, Atomic bomb museum and Peace park. We use street car to visit those places. We have delicious Chanpon noodle for lunch at my recommended local restaurant.
Hakata station or your hotel
We meet at Hakata station(Fukuoka city) and take a train to Nagasaki city.
Our first spot is Oura cathedral. The church was built in 1864 by a French priest and it is the oldest Gothic style church in Japan. It was just registered as World heritage site. *If you are interested in going inside, please let me know, I can rearrange time schedule.
Glover garden consists historical western style houses including the former residence of Thomas Glover who was a large contributor to the modernization of Japan. You can also enjoy beautiful view of Nagasaki port from the garden of his house.
We have Chanpon noodle for lunch. I will take you to one of my favorite local restaurants.
The bridge was built in 1634 by a Chinese monk of Koufukuji Temple. It is the oldest stone arch bridge in Japan.
Suwa shrine is located upper hill so that you will need to take 193 steps to reach its main hall.
We can learn about the atomic bomb which was dropped on Nagasaki in 1945. It has a good explanation in English.
At the end of this tour, we'll visit this park near the museum and we pray for peace.
We take a train back to Fukuoka city. We'll arrive around 19:15 at Hakata station.

“Fukuoka city tour ”
Hitomi was an excellent guide taking us to Fukuoka tower, Ohari park, a couple temples and some amazing Ramen, then we headed to learn about Fukuoka arts and crafts and the annual Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival at a small museum. Thanks Hitomi for a great day for my son and I. Bonus points for getting us back to the hotel before the downpour in the evening!

“Hitomi was Excellent!”
Hitomi met us early. She was on time and very knowledgeable about the area. She was flexible with our day and made it very easy to sit back and follow her around. I highly recommend using a guide if you have never been to the area before. She was a life saver!

“A very special 'Attack on Titan' tour to remember forever!”
My son and I got to experience a very unique tour with Hitomi. Her expertise with touring allowed us to create a special and focused tour of all things 'Attack on Titan' in the wonderful area of Hita. She ensured that we were able to see all the things we wanted or needed to see. We would have had a difficult time trying to put this experience together ourselves and we truly appreciate Hitomi's guidance and warm personality. We thank you so very much Hitomi!
