Fukuoka city can be quickly reviewed by my 3 hours tour. 3 hours would be a adequate timeperiod for your quick city view. Please let me know your interest, then I may flexibly change the destination.
For now, I set the starting time 11AM, but it is flexible. Depending on your request, the tour can start from 9AM - 4PM.

I suppose your hotel is somewhere around Hakata station, Tenjin area. Tell me your hotel name. I will be there.
Depending on the location of your hotel, we will be around or go to our first destination.
Lunch
When traveling, food is very important factor for your travel satisfaction. Fukuoka is very famous for the local foods.
It depends on your food preferences, but Ramen noodle is the easy and delicious solution I can think of now.
Maybe you would like to try "Ichiran" or "Ippudo"? Okay, let's go eat it.
Walk tour in Hakata station and Tenjin area
Tenjin area and Hakata station is not very far. It can be a walking distance (about 30minutes). But do not worry we have public transportation such as buses and subways, so by using them we can move from place to place effectively.

- Kushida shrine (the main shrine of Hakata regions, big float inthe shrine)
- Tenjin area walking (Big shopping underground streets)

About Tour Guide Yasuhiko I.
Hi! My name is Yasuhiko, please call me "Yasu", meaning "hello" in Greek. After I worked in an electric company in Japan, I became a professional guide to introduce my town, my country.
After Covid-19, tourism is back! you may want to have more private experiences like no other people had before. Then, my home, Fukuoka, has a lot to show you around. So many nice places, cultures, and nice local people with delicious local foods.
I like sports, climbing, running etc. I also like to visit temples and shrines. I am also an active backpacker, (have been to 50+ countries mostly in Asia and Europe over 30 years) So, I suppose I know well about where you would like to visit. :) I have never lived outside of Japan, however, you may also feel better that my speaking English is not typical Japanese "flat" intonation.

Will visit a very panoramic viewing spot at the north edge of Kyushu island. This is not known for foreign tourists at all, but just 30 minutes walk to a hill, about 360m altitude, amazing view with a comfortable wind. You will find yourself that it is really worth taking a walk. From the hill, you will be able to see my small home town and how north edge of Kyushu land finishes.
