Sometimes called "the little Venice of Kyushu" Yanagawa offers a unique scenery of water canals. On our way back, we will visit Dazaifu - on of Japan's most important Shinto shrines.

We will enjoy pleasant half a day in Yanagawa, enjoying its water canals.
In spring we can make a detour to visit the Great Wisteria of Nakayama - beautiful wisteria garden.

Dazaifu Tenmangu
Dazaifu Tenmangū is one of Japan's most important Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the 9th-century scholar and poet Sugawara no Michizane, revered as the deity of learning and culture, attracting students praying for academic success.
