“The perfect introduction to Tokyo ”

Our first visit to Japan gave us a brief stay in Tokyo. We wanted a guide who could show us a little of the city. Kaneo was perfect. He is knowledgeable, friendly and happy to customize the tour to your needs. His English is excellent, and he was so welcoming to us. We had a superb day seeing both ancient and modern sights. Kaneo expertly navigated through the city on foot and by train. At every turn he told us about the rich history of the city, and engaged us in conversation, without ever feeling overbearing. He did an excellent job understanding what we wanted to see, both ahead of time and on they day. You could not ask for a better guide to Tokyo. When we come back we will be delighted to travel with him again and see more of this wonderful city. Thank you, Kaneo-San.

“Excellent tour!”

Kaneo led my son and I on an excellent tour of Enoshima and Kamikura. Importantly, Kaneo has deep personal ties to this area, and this really shows in his expert knowledge of all things about it. He not only took us to the "popular" destinations, but some out-of-the-way places that were great to experience. Kaneo was prompt, professional, and flexible to our suggestions and interests. Would definitely recommend!

We sometimes say in Japanese, "Kokorogake-ga yoi kara", which means ," You are a good and honest person. So Heaven allows you to enjoy good weather." “Best guide ever”

My wife and I needed a guide for 3 days in Tokyo including Mt Fuji. I searched through several pages of guides before I found Kaneo. He was available and his info indicated he spoke good English. From our first communication to the our last day of touring, Kaneo was fantastic. He promptly responded to our communications. He sent a detailed itinerary for each day. Even though he lives 1 1/2 hours outside Tokyo, he met us everyday at our hotel. His knowledge of the subways and trains was perfect. One day, I wanted to visit a bonsai museum that he had never heard of...he researched the route and with very little notice and we had an amazing day. We had rain all 3 days, but with umbrellas and parkas we still saw lots of cherry trees and spent a day in Hakone, but didn't see Mt Fuji. I would recommend Kaneo to anyone.
