I was raised in several places, such as Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka, and Nagoya.

After my professional sales experience for a business machinery company in Yokohama, I pursued an opportunity to teach in China.

I worked as a Japanese teacher to foreigners in Shanghai.

The longer I lived abroad, the more I came to appreciate the unique aspects of Japanese culture. So I started learning English and Chinese to become a bridge to help bring foreign visitors closer to Japanese culture.

“Unforgettable and Amazing”

Maru was a great guide that taught me how to ride the trains and also taught me the history of certain areas too. Friendly, dependable, and overall an amazing guide that made me feel welcomed to Japan. Our visit to the Meiji shrine was insightful and our tour of Harajuku and Shibuya taught me so much that when I come back next time I am sure to have her as my guide again. Thank you very much Maru.
