To enjoy Kamakura tour, you had better walk. In this tour you will walk about one hour intermittently. I advise you to wear walking shoes.
This tour is a bit of rapid one. So if you want to spend more time at a certain spot than I expected, we may change the schedule a bit.
I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama.
I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

“Best guide ever”
My wife and I needed a guide for 3 days in Tokyo including Mt Fuji. I searched through several pages of guides before I found Kaneo. He was available and his info indicated he spoke good English. From our first communication to the our last day of touring, Kaneo was fantastic. He promptly responded to our communications. He sent a detailed itinerary for each day. Even though he lives 1 1/2 hours outside Tokyo, he met us everyday at our hotel. His knowledge of the subways and trains was perfect. One day, I wanted to visit a bonsai museum that he had never heard of...he researched the route and with very little notice and we had an amazing day. We had rain all 3 days, but with umbrellas and parkas we still saw lots of cherry trees and spent a day in Hakone, but didn't see Mt Fuji. I would recommend Kaneo to anyone. YOu won't be disappointed. Frank and Dianne Hodges....Santa Rosa, California

Thank you for your kind and long review. I am happy to know you enjoyed rainy days in Tokyo with me. Bonsai Museum is fantastic. Because of your proposal I could enjoy the museum and I am able to add it to my tour if necessary. I hope to see your bonsais made with the technique you learnt there.

“„Thank you KANEO“”
Kaneo is a wonderful person. He mad Tokyo come alive for us. We visited the Fish-Market and so many other interesting places. There is no way we would have seen all those places within one day without him. The lunch in a little local restaurant was great. Again thank you Kaneo for all the memorable photos which you took and offered to us after the trip . My wife and I were so happy to spent the day with Kaneo. Thank you.

“A full day from Enoshima to Komachi-dori”
Full marks to Kaneo. He is knowledgeable, friendly and easy-going. Six hours from Enoshima to Komachi-dori, with many temples and shrines in between is a full and ambitious schedule, but we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Kaneo has local knowledge and experience, his command of English is excellent and his pacing was spot on. If you are to make the most of Kamakura as day trip destination then you definitely want a local guide with knowledge of the streets and public transit options. Kaneo is just that. The soba restaurant he recommended halfway through provided a welcome respite from the days journey and hit the spot. He was at all times helpful and amiably conversant. My family and I fully endorse the experience and are glad of our choice.
