In Kyoto, there are many temples which have many Japanese maple trees. They turn into red around November 20 or so. (It depends on the year.)
Many people not only from the world but also from all over Japan visit Kyoto during this period. You will be definitely amazed at the gorgeous world you can see with your eyes. 'The early bird gets the worm'. We should start early and enjoy the marvelous world before so many people come. (Even at 8:30, you will find so many people at Tofukuji Temple!)

My wife and I spent two lovely half-days discovering Kyoto with Tomoe-san. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, cheerful, patient - all that you look for in a guide. After our two days, we had a much richer understanding of Kyoto and of Japanese culture and customs. We also felt like we made a new friend! We strongly recommend Tomoe-san, and will surely hire her the next time we visit this wonderful city. Arigato gozaimasu!
Dear Carlos, Thank you very much for such a warmhearted review and two wonderful half-days! You are such a nice couple and I had the supreme and real pleasure as a guide! Thank you very much for booking me as your guide and giving me such a precious meeting. I do hope that you will visit Kyoto and I can see you again! TOMOE
Our family loved Tomoe - it was a very hot day and she was so flexible with us. She met us on the platform, helped with storing luggage and made sure we covered all our planned items. You could see that Tomoe knew exactly where to go and she had done all her research to prepare to take us to places. She knew what to try that was suitable for kids and helped with the taxi back to our accomodation. I regret not booking Tomoe for another tour as we wasted a day trying to navigate ourselves with very young children! Thank you for your tour Tomoe!!!
Dear Hoan, Thank you sooo much for such a warmhearted review! It was a hot, hot day in September, however, I could have a really wonderful time with you, such a nice family! I wish I could spend more time with you... I miss you all. I hope that I can see you again. Thank you very much for booking me as your guide. TOMOE
We exchanged a few messages before our arrival with Tomoe to finalise the itinerary. She was very accommodating and we did all the things we wanted to do. Tomoe is very knowledgeable and gave us loads of useful information when visiting sites. She guided us to the place where we had booked a kimono and tea ceremony at the end of the tour. A recommendation of hers where we had a great time. She also helped us shaping the itinerary of the next day when we were on our own. Her English is great. She is very thoughtful, she brought a birthday gift to Les. She also took loads of pictures of us. Overall we had a fantastic day. Would highly recommend Tomoe to anyone.
Dear Sandrine and Les, Thank you very much for your warmhearted review! What a fun, hot day we spent together! I was amazed at you, always think of your husband. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed tea ceremony, too. Thank you very much for booking me as your guide. I do hope that I can see you again. TOMOE
Tomoe is an amazing tour guide and a bless in my trip and made my stay in Kyoto meaningful and entertaining . Very knowledgeable, funny, friendly and listen to my expectation what I want to experience and places to wish to visit in Kyoto. Love my time here because of that. She's happily took as many photos to each places we went... it's a bonus and made it memorable. Thank you Tomoe...Arigato gozaimashita. Bianca
