“Highly Recommended!!!”
Highly recommend taking a tour to see Nara Park with Miyu. The whole experience can be very overwhelming. First there is the overall size of the park (1600 acres), numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, and wild, bowing deer everywhere. For this reason, my family booked a private tour with Miyu. Miyu had everything planned out and guided us around the park. Never once did we have to pull out our phones to try to use Google Maps/Translate. Miyu expertly led us to see the temples and shrines - handling admission and leading us to see the best spots and must-see items at each location. She helped me with buying a Goshuincho and obtaining my first Goshuins. Miyu also helped my children with their Omikujis. For me the highlight was seeing and feeding the deer (although some can be quite aggressive). Miyu explained the process of feeding the deer and gave us tips to avoid being harassed by the deer. We were finished and leaving for lunch just as the park was beginning to become really crowded. Overall, we were very happy to have Miyu as our guide and were very satisfied with her tour of Nara Park.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It makes me truly happy to hear that your family had a great time in Nara. I’m glad I could help you navigate the park so you could focus on making memories together without worrying about maps or translations. Feeding the deer and getting your first Goshuin are such special experiences, and I’m honored I could be a part of them. Please let me know when you're back in Japan—I’d love to guide you and your family again!

“Thank you for two wonderful days in Kyoto”
Dear Miyu, Thank you again for two wonderful days in Kyoto. We truly enjoyed spending time with you. From the very beginning, you made everything feel easy and pleasant. Meeting us at the hotel was such a nice start, and we really appreciated how well you organized our first day. Going together to the local market, choosing ingredients, buying some Japanese sweets, and then preparing takoyaki together in the sharing apartment was a really special experience for us. Sharing that dinner made the whole evening feel warm, personal, and memorable. The second day was just as lovely. Your suggestion to leave early to avoid the crowds at the famous shrine was absolutely the right decision. The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and we could enjoy everything much more. We also loved walking through the old part of Kyoto and visiting a ramen restaurant that felt truly local and authentic. Ending the day at the temple was beautiful, and after returning to the center of Kyoto, we found a small hidden gem where we could sit outside near the arcade and enjoy a beer — a perfect ending to a wonderful day. What made the whole experience even better was you — always smiling, in a good mood, and ready for action. You brought such a positive energy to both days, and it made our time in Kyoto even more enjoyable. Thank you for your kindness, your effort, and for creating such a relaxed and memorable experience for us. We will remember these two days with great pleasure. Warm regards, Domen

Miyu S.
Hi Domen, Thank you so much for your kind and heartwarming message! Reading it truly made my day. I also had a wonderful time exploring Kyoto with you. You were so open to trying new things—especially making takoyaki together! It felt more like hanging out with friends than a formal tour, and sharing that dinner at the apartment is one of my favorite memories as a guide too. I’m so glad you enjoyed the early morning visit to the shrine and our little "hidden gem" spot for a beer. It’s those quiet, local moments that make Kyoto so special, and I’m happy I could share them with you. Your energy and constant smiles made my job so easy and fun. Thank you for choosing me to be your guide! Please stay in touch, and I hope to see you again—perhaps for another beer or a new local discovery—whenever you return to Japan. Warm regards, Miyu
