Did you know that the famous Fushimi Inari is not just a shrine? It is build on a holy mountain with thousands of red torii gates spread along the hiking trails!
In this tour I want to show you some secret walks, where you have a view of the many beautiful red shrine gates without the tourist crowds while also enjoying the nature. It is an easy 3-hour-hike!

Hi, my name is Yuta, and I’m a guide based in Kyoto and Osaka :) I guide in both English and German, and I enjoy helping visitors discover Japan in a way that feels personal and memorable.
As a local guide, I know Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara very well. I love showing both the famous highlights and the smaller hidden spots that most visitors don’t get to see.
I design custom tours for individuals and groups, whether you’d like to explore Kyoto’s temples and gardens, Osaka’s lively neighborhoods, or Nara’s peaceful parks and friendly deer. Along the way, I share stories, history, and insights to help you experience these places more deeply.
I also enjoy taking photos during tours so you’ll have lasting memories of your visit. Most importantly, my goal is to make your time in Japan enjoyable, relaxed, and truly special.

“Ein Ausflug mit Gegensätzen ”
Wir hatten eine tolle Tour mit Yuta in Osaka. Wir sind mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln vom Kreuzfahrthafen in Kobe gefahren. In Osaka haben wir zuerst die Burg besucht. Sehr beeindruckend und interessant. Ganz oben mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Danach ging es wieder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zum Namba Viertel mit der berühmten Dotonbori Strasse. Hier ist es sehr lebendig, voller Reklame, bunten Läden, vielen Lokalen. Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen, Reisbowl - Reis mit hauchdünn geschnittenen Rindfleisch, Käse und rohen Eiern. Yuta hat uns toll durch den Tag begleitet, er hat uns viel erzählt. Wir empfehlen Ihnen und diese Tour auf jeden Fall weiter.

“Ein wunderschöner Tag ”
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag in Kyoto. Yuta ist mit uns Shinkansen gefahren, das war ein Erlebnis, wenn auch nicht ganz billig. In Kyoto waren wir am Fushimi Inari Schrein mit seinen 100ü roten Toren. Das war sehr beeindruckend! Dann waren wir beim Yasaka Schrein und in der Altstadt von Kyoto mit der 5 stöckigen Pagode. Gegessen haben wir im Gion Viertel, japanisches Schnitzel mit leckeren Beilagen, Gewürzen und Saucen. Den Kiyomizu Tempel haben wir auch besucht mit einem schönen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Der Nishiki Markt war sehr interessant mit viel Strettfood und Souvenirständen. Wir können diese Tour mit Yuta auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Er hat soviel Interessantes erzählt und schöne Fotos von uns gemacht.

Kyoto back road trail/behide the major temples
There's numbers of trails around Kyoto where people's life and forest are closely coexist. In this tour, guests will be guided half-day tour which starts from just beside one of the famous tourist spot "Silver temple". The trail starts from well-maintained road, getting gently increase in slope. Then we suddenly jump into an open space which is called "Hidoko (fire bed)" where Kyoto's biggest festival ”Okuribi (bonfire)" is held. Great panoramic view of Kyoto city is also available here.
