I would like to take you to Ginkakuji, Plilosopher's Path, Eikando, and Nanzenji Temple.

The another name for Ginkakuji is "Temple of Silver Pavilion" whlle that for Kinkakuji is called "Temple of Golden Pavilion." It is said that the Temple expresses "wabi sabi" or simple athetic values. The temple has a stroll-type pond garden, so you can enjoy a beautiful view from any angle. The steps are covered with moss on both sides.

Hello, I'm HIDEo YOSHIda. Please call me HIDEYOSHI, the same name as the famous shogun who built the Osaka Castle in 1585.

I was born in Kobe and worked in Osaka for nearly 40 years. I would like to introduce the Kansai region to you ,including Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Wakayama.

Kobe is one of the two largest ports in Japan, along with Yokohama. After the opening of the Port of Kobe in 1868, foreigners built their residences on the hillside of the Kitano-cho area, overlooking the ocean. Many of the foreign residences are now open to the public as museums, including the Weathercock House, with it's symbol weathercock on the triangle-shaped roof.

In Meriken Park, the red Port Tower (the city's landmark), creates a beautiful contrast against the white Kobe Marine Museum. The museum's design was inspired by the waves and sailing ships.

When you have a chance to visit Osaka, please join my tour. I'm sure you'll enjoy the interesting and historical, scenic spots. For example, Shin-Sekai is a downtown area with a strange mix of nostalgic atmosphere and contemporary energy. You can try local foods (kushikatsu, sushi, tempura) at a reasonable price. Billiken (a famous statue of the spirit of luck) will be waiting for you!!. Dotombori is a popular street with a lot of flashy signboards. Osaka is widely known as a "Kuidaore-no-machi", or literally "drinking and eating luxuriously to death." Osaka Castle was built by Toyotomi HIDEYOSHI in 1585. Oh, it's my residence, isn't it !

These days "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" area in USJ, or Universal Studios Japan, is also attracting more and more people.

“Wonderful introduction to Kochi!”

We had a great time exploring Kochi. We were able to fit a lot in that we wouldn’t have been able to do ourselves in a short cruise stop. Hide provided interesting info at the stops and on the travels between sites. The lunch restaurant was fantastic and had a good selections so everyone could get something they liked. Thank you Hide and our driver for the wonderful introduction to Kochi!

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. We were blessed with good weather and I'm sure you enjoyed the Kochi tour. Kochi Castle is one of the 12 oldest castles in Japan. It looks like 4 stories but 6 floors inside. It is completely different from European Castles. We had lunch that you liked at a good restaurant at Katsurahama Beach. Lastly we visited Makino botanical Garden and Chikurinji Temple where you looked bamboos with a strong life force. I hope you enjoy Japan trip on a cruise ship. “Great visit to Hiroshima and Miyajima with Hideo”

Planning with Mr. Hideo through the platform prior to booking was quick and seamless. He tailored a perfect itinerary for our day and even met us right at our hotel, which was a massive plus. He effortlessly managed our train tickets and navigated the busy stations, making the round trip to Osaka completely stress-free. The pace of the day was realistic and well-thought-out; we visited every site on our list without ever feeling rushed. Mr. Hideo is incredibly knowledgeable and shared wonderful historical insights throughout the day. While there were minor language barriers at times, communication was never an issue. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

“Hanshin Tigers Game”

We had such a BLAST going to the Tigers game with Hideo! He kindly let us use his Tigers jerseys and noisemakers, what a fun time! We appreciated his knowledge about the Stadium and the Tigers, and taking us to and from the game by train from our hotel. We highly recommend going to a game with Hideo!

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. In the game the highlight that the audience enjoy most is "Flying Balloons" just before the bottom of 7th inning when we suport Tigers. The whole audience blow up balloons and at the same time when the music ends, people release their hands to fly balloons. The Koshien stadium commands a panoramic view of yellow balloons. We had a fun time to see balloons flying. I hope you enjoy Japan trip and I wish you all the best in the future.
