“seeing Kyoto with Fumi”
Fumi is friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the stories and legends she shared with us in each attraction site. Our trip was almost completely ruined by the wet weather when it rains quite heavily when we got to Kinkaku-ji, but thank God the rain did not last long so we still managed to tour all the planned attraction spots in one day (Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama Bamboo forest, Tenryu-ji temple, Togetsukyo bridge, Kiyomizu, and Gion). There were a lot of walking but we had memorable time with the experiences she shared with us walking through the streets.

Thank you so much for writing a wonderful review. I'm very happy that you enjoyed the tour. Yes, our tour started sadly with very heavy rain. But, Luckily the rain stopped after 30 minutes and we were able to continue our tour. Your family was very friendly and enthusiastic about japanese culture. I look forward to seeing you again.

“A Day in Kyoto with Fumi - a Kyoto Gem with History, Heart, and Hospitality”
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending a day in Kyoto with Fumi as our guide, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Despite our last-minute booking the day before, Fumi graciously accommodated our request and made everything seamless from the start. We chose the “Kyoto’s Must See Attractions and World Heritage Sites in One Day” tour, and Fumi truly delivered. Fumi met us promptly in our hotel lobby and, from the moment we started, treated us not just as clients but as friends. Her warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm made us feel instantly at ease. What truly stood out was her depth of knowledge—she shared fascinating historical and cultural context that brought each site to life and helped us appreciate the temples, shrines, and traditions of Kyoto on a much deeper level. Beyond the information, Fumi’s genuine love for Kyoto and passion for her work shine through. She tailored the day to our pace and interests and made thoughtful recommendations. We even enjoyed a delicious lunch at Tofu Restaurant Matsugae together. Fumi's kindness is heartfelt, and her attention to detail ensured we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had spent the day with an old friend who just happened to be an expert in all things Kyoto. Fumi is not only an incredible guide, but a truly lovely human being. Booking a tour with her will not just enhance your experience—it will be one of the highlights of your trip.

Thank you so much for a wonderful review. I'm very happy that you enjoyed the tour. Alicia and her husband were the most caring and great couple I've ever met. I love Japan, especially Kyoto, which has a long history. So, in my tours, I try to convey as much as possible what kind of country, philosophy, and culture Japan has. My English skills are still lacking, so I'm working hard to improve them. I'll continue to work hard so that customers who come to Japan can have a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing you again.

“Peaceful and Authentic Kyoto Experience”
We had a truly wonderful day with Fumi as our guide in Kyoto. She created a personalized tour based on our wishes and took us to peaceful, lesser-known temples and beautiful shrines. Fumi also gave us a warm and authentic insight into Kyoto’s traditional cuisine. It felt like being introduced to the city by a thoughtful friend rather than a typical tour guide. Her kind, calm presence and attention to detail made the day feel relaxed, meaningful, and truly special. We’re so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a more personal and culturally rich Kyoto tour.
