The Bamboo Grove
The bamboo forest path get crowded during the day, so it's best to go early
in the morning, The soft sunlight makes for great photos. We will move to Tenryuji by 10 min walk.
Tenryuji temple
Registered as a World Heritage Site, you can experience the beauty of Japanese gardens throughout the seasons.
Togetsu-kyo bridge
Togetsu-kyo is famous central landmark of Arashiyama. There are many small shops nearby. After we will take a taxi (20min).
Kinkakuji temple
The most famous temple registered as a World Heritage Site is Kinkakuji known as temple of the Golden Pavilion. If you don't visit it, you can not say that you have been to Kyoto.
Lunch at Kaiten sushi restaurant
Kaiten sushi, the famous conveyor belt sushi restaurant ( I will show you how to eat sushi from the conveyor belt. ) or other japanese restaurants near by Kinkakuji as your choice. We are going to Kiyomizudera by bus.
Kiyomizudera-temple
Situated atop a small mountain on the east side of Kyoto, Kiyomizu-dera temple offers a commanding view of the city. Perhaps it is the most beloved temple among Japanese people.
Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka
From Kiyomizudera passing down to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka cobblestone-paved slope are lined with Kyoto souvenir shops and has a charming atmosphere.
Gion
Gion is Kyoto's most famous geisha district, you can enjoy the townscape that feels like you have traveled back in time.
Ending Point
The tour ends at 4:30 in Gion. After the tour, you can enjoy authentic Japanese dinner at Pontocho.
