Monkey park, Bamboo grove and Golden Pavilion
We visit the bamboo forest area, where we explore the Bamboo Grove, the Monkey Park, and Tenryuji Temple. After that, we visit the Golden Pavilion, also known as Kinkakuji Temple. We will travel by public transportation from the station closest to your hotel in Kyoto.

Bamboo grove
We visit the most famous and beautiful bamboo grove.
Monkey park
There are about 500 hundred wild monkeys you can feed them.
We need to walk up the mountain for about 25 minutes.
Tenryuji temple
It is Zen temple from 14 century built by Shogun.
It has a beautiful Japanese garden.
Golden pavillion
It used to be a part of residential house of shogun.
After he died, it became a Zen temple.
It covered with gold leaves.

We walk up the mountain for about 25 minutes, so please wear comfortable shoes.
If it is hard for you to walk up the mountain, we go to Giouji instead.
Giouji have a beautiful moss Japanese garden.

Kyoto back road trail/behide the major temples
There's numbers of trails around Kyoto where people's life and forest are closely coexist. In this tour, guests will be guided half-day tour which starts from just beside one of the famous tourist spot "Silver temple". The trail starts from well-maintained road, getting gently increase in slope. Then we suddenly jump into an open space which is called "Hidoko (fire bed)" where Kyoto's biggest festival ”Okuribi (bonfire)" is held. Great panoramic view of Kyoto city is also available here.
