About Tour Guide Niko T.
KONNICHIWA!!
I’m Niko!
I’ve lived in Australia and worked at the Osaka Expo 2025.
Through those experiences, I met people from all over the world — we hung out together, and I loved taking them to hidden local spots that tourists usually don’t find, like cozy cafés, local restaurants, and beautiful nature spots.
I’m a very friendly person who loves learning new things. I enjoy not only sharing unique and lesser-known sides of Japan, but also hearing stories about your country and anything you’d like to talk about!
I’m a big FOODIE! (Please go to my galleries!)
Please let me make you try my favorite Japanese foods!!
I also love taking a pictures and will always bring my camera with me, , so I can take beautiful photos of you during the tour — and you’ll get them on the spot as a little gift !
Providing warm hospitality to people is truly my joy.
You won’t regret joining my tour — I promise!
Can’t wait to meet you soon!

“Bubbly guide with good planning!”
We had a wonderful experience with Nico, it feels like exploring Kyoto with a friend! She does the planning wonderfully, even though we have some delays, she accommodated it and gave good suggestions to let us enjoy our trip. She even offer to help us hold our baby at some time so we can get some photos. Great experience!

“Kyoto with the fam”
We can not say enough about Nico. She is absolutely the best guide ever. She was so knowledgeable, timely, communicative, friendly, and so much more. She was amazing with our nine year old daughter and really was able to relate to her and cater the tour to all levels of our family’s interests. She took the time to help us navigate the train system which was so helpful for our entire trip. Just amazing guide and amazing time! She even helped us get a lost stuffed animal returned all the way back to California!! Above and beyond!!

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! I had such a wonderful time spending the day with your family, and I’m so happy I could also enjoy time with your lovely daughter!!:) It truly means a lot to hear that the tour was helpful and enjoyable for all of you. I’m also glad I could help with the train system and, of course, reunite the stuffed animal back to California safely! Thank you again for trusting me to be part of your Japan trip. I’ll always remember our time together and hope to see your family again someday!

“Arashiyama - Miraculously Arrived before the Crowds”
We booked Niko for two days, and she quickly helped us pivot when our boat cruise was canceled due to inclement weather. We even arrived at the bamboo forest extra early, and she was able to take a family photo of us before the large crowds arrived. Thank you for all of the memories!

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m so happy we could still enjoy Arashiyama early in the morning before the crowds arrived and capture those special family photos together! Although the Hozugawa boat cruise was canceled because of the weather, I’m glad we were able to ride the Sagano Romantic Train instead and still make wonderful memories together. Thank you again for booking two days with me — it was truly a pleasure meeting your family!
