About Tour Guide Niko T.
KONNICHIWA!!
I’m Niko!
I’ve lived in Australia and worked at the Osaka Expo 2025.
Through those experiences, I met people from all over the world — we hung out together, and I loved taking them to hidden local spots that tourists usually don’t find, like cozy cafés, local restaurants, and beautiful nature spots.
I’m a very friendly person who loves learning new things. I enjoy not only sharing unique and lesser-known sides of Japan, but also hearing stories about your country and anything you’d like to talk about!
I’m a big FOODIE! (Please go to my galleries!)
Please let me make you try my favorite Japanese foods!!
I also love taking a pictures and will always bring my camera with me, , so I can take beautiful photos of you during the tour — and you’ll get them on the spot as a little gift !
Providing warm hospitality to people is truly my joy.
You won’t regret joining my tour — I promise!
Can’t wait to meet you soon!

“Local delights”
Having been to most of the touristy places in Osaka I decided to hire a guide to show me the hidden gems of Osaka that only a local would be familiar with. This was my first time ever hiring a guide and it definitely didn't disappoint. Niko has such a bright and cheerful personality that it was easy to get along. Her command of English was amazing so for those of you who worry about language being a barrier, have no fear. She brought me to an authentic Japanese lunch place which was popular with the locals and the food was superb. We then proceeded to a museum as I wanted to lean more about Osaka's history and we had a fun time discussing about it. This was followed by a nice stroll around the Castle grounds and Niko so kindly accommodated my request for a coffee break by bringing me to a nice local cafe for some much needed caffeine. As the sun was about to set, Niko then brought me to a nice spot only a local would know to see the city view from up top. Seeing the city skyline with the streets lit up was definitely a sight to behold. The last time on the tour menu was dinner and Niko chose a nice Udon spot to end things of. All good things must come to an end and having wrapped up dinner it was time to part ways. I really enjoyed my tour with Niko and if you're ever looking for a guide who's friendly, accommodating and kind and will give you her all to ensure you enjoy your time in Osaka I can't recommend her enough. Niko has definitely made my trip a memorable one. Thank you Niko and hope to see you in my next trip if you'll have me again.

“The entire day ”
I booked a customised personal tour with Nico because I just arrived in Osaka and wanted to switch my brain off and absorb the culture, food and sites of Osaka without doing any pre-planning. Because of Nico-chan's love for walking, nature, food and having lived in Australia is knew there would be a natural connection and shared interest. Nico gave me a personalised tour throughout all of Osaka while also giving me opportunity to learn about the towns history, landmarks, food and culture. Which are all things I love. I also tried some of the best food I'll ever eat (Hamburger and Japanese style pastries) which are 2 things i would never had done without Nico-chan. If you want a tour guide who speaks fantastic English, will take the stress out of planning a day for you. Understands Osaka, Kyoto and the surrounding area then you're in for a real treat if you book Nico-chaaan ~
