“Local wines and historical background”
Chinami provided an excellent tour of local wineries as well as background on the history of wine-making in Japan and the production process. She met us and dropped us off at the train station, and the logistics were excellent. We truely enjoyed spending the day with her. We recommend any of her tours, and the wine tour especially for wine-lovers who like to taste unusual or up and coming wines.

Thank you for the great review. I am happy that you enjoyed wines in Yamanashi. Have you drunk any bottle of wine you bought? Please tell me what your friends or family members who shared think. Now the association called Koshu of Japan goes to London to promote wines made in Japan. I hope you come to a festival in the area next time and nouveau or Koshu grapes itself. Good luck on your job and take care!

“Mt Fuji 6 hour Tour with Chinami (Cindy) ”
Chinami was great! She speaks English very well and we even had conversations about Japan and my home country South Africa. She's very knowledgable about Fuji-san and the surrounding area since she lived and grew up not far from there. Mt Fuji is beautiful and definitely worth checking out if you get a chance! Would definitely also like to join one of her wine/sake tours in future! As an added bonus she also assisted us to change our return bus ticket to an earlier one which saved us about an hour of waiting! I would definitely recommend Chinami (Cindy) for any English speaking travelers in Japan.

“Wonderful tour of Yamanashi and a few of its wineries.”
We highly recommend Chinami as a tour guide. We were extremely lucky to have booked our winery tour with her; she was fantastic. Chinami drove us around Yamanashi for a stunning view of Mt. Fuji before the wine tasting began. We visited five wineries in total: we selected Katsunuma Marquis Winery, and her choices for the other four were excellent. She also recommended a perfect winery for lunch—the food was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. Additionally, soon after we booked the tour, she sent us easy-to-follow instructions for booking our train tickets. At the end of the day, she drove us directly to the train station and took us right to the platform. We highly recommend Chinami for anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

Thank you so much for the review. I am so glad that you enjoyed the tour. We saw Mt Fuji in the park where you know products grow in Yamanashi. Many people don't know wines in Japan have high evaluation now. Please come back to the area again on the grape festival day or the nouveau festival day to enjoy more wines! I appreciated the snacks and sweets from Hawaii! Wishing you happy holidays!

Mt.Fuji 5th station, a short hike of Ochudo & Okuniwa
The Ochudo, also known as Middle Road, was a special trail for ascetic practitioners that circled Mt.Fuji at the level of the fifth station. The trail is adorned by beautiful flora such as Japanese larch, Rhododendron, and Lingonberry and offers a majestic view of Mt.Fuji. The trail continues to Okuniwa, as Inner Garden which used to be a lateral crater. As it is named, pine trees and volcanic rocks create artistic landscapes by all nature.
