01:00 PM

Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum

You will visit the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.

Admission is not included in the tour fee.

You can take your time to look around and read the explanations. At the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, most displays include English subtitles. I will stay nearby, so please feel free to ask questions or start a conversation at any time.

Some of the exhibits can be difficult to see, so please go at your own pace. There is no need to feel pressured to look at everything. Take the time you need. If you need a short break or prefer to skip any section, that is completely okay. I will also point out the highlights and explain them along the way.

02:00 PM

Hypocenter Park

You will visit the Ground Zero Monument at Nagasaki Hypocenter Park, where the atomic bomb exploded. There you can also see the geological layers from the time of the bombing and the remaining walls of Urakami Cathedral, which was destroyed by the blast.

If you wish, you may take a moment for silent prayer or reflection.

02:30 AM

Nagasaki Peace Park

On the walk from Nagasaki Hypocenter Park, you will see the air-raid shelters that were used during the bombing. At Nagasaki Peace Park, you can take photos with the Peace Memorial Statue. Finally, we will visit a hill where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the rebuilt Urakami Cathedral.

About Tour Guide Moe F.

Hi! I'm Moe. I work as a tour guide and Japanese teacher. I grew up in Nagasaki and live in the centre of the city now, but until last year I was teaching Japanese at a university in Ecuador. Because of that I also speak some Spanish.

I love watching football, fishing and travelling. I visited to many countries and regions as a tourist. If you want the best food experience in Nagasaki, I am your personal specialist. I am also a third-generation of the Atomic Bomb survivor. If you want to learn about the history of peace in Nagasaki, I will share the stories I heard directly from my grandfather.

If you have any questions, you can contact me at any time for anything.

I look forward to making your trip the best it can be.
